Chapter 349: [Wedding By Blood] [1] [Force]
The light shone brightly over the Danava Kingdom.
Buildings glowed, and streets were lined with intricate decorations, turning the entire city into something out of a dream.
“They really went all out,” I murmured, leaning against the balcony railing, taking in the view.
“They did,” Aimar replied beside me, his arms resting lazily on the rail.
Below us, the city pulsed with life.
Laughter and music drifted through the air, blending into the atmosphere.
It barely felt like a wedding—it was more like a grand festival.
A swirl of smoke caught my attention, making me glance at Aimar.
“Want some?” he asked, holding out his cigarette.
“Sure.”
I took it from him, inhaling deeply.
The familiar burn filled my lungs, its bitter taste mixing with the cool night air.
Aimar exhaled, watching the smoke dissolve into the sky. “Say… if Oliver were still alive, what would you do?”
I didn’t even hesitate. “Kiss him.”
Aimar choked on his cigarette.
I smiled, pressing on. “And not just a normal smooch. Full tongue—”
“Shut the fuck up.” He shot me a disgusted look. “Stop acting like a dumbass.”
I shrugged. “It’s not gay if it’s your homie—”
“Stop with the excuses,” he interrupted again, wrinkling his nose. “Fucking weirdo.”
I flipped him off. “Screw you.” Then, more seriously, I asked, “Why bring this up?”
Aimar went quiet, shifting his gaze to the empty space beside him.
No one was there, but he stared like he was seeing something I couldn’t.
“Just wondering,” he muttered. “Wanted to know how you’d react.”
I smacked his chest, making him groan. “We’ll get him back soon. Don’t worry.”
“Fuck you, asshole,” he grumbled, rubbing the spot where I hit him.
“I miss him,” I admitted quietly.
“Me too,” Aimar whispered back.
Silence settled between us.
We simply stood there, watching the glowing city below.
“Himmel.”

“…Yeah?”
I turned to him, and his expression was oddly serious.
“I need to tell you something.”
I frowned. “What?”
He drew in a deep breath. “Actually, I can see Oli—”
The balcony doors slammed open.
We both turned to see Zenith standing at the entrance, arms crossed, her ember eyes flashing with irritation.
“What the hell are you two doing here?”
Her black hair, streaked with pink, cascaded over her shoulders, complementing the stunning pink gown hugging her figure.
She looked effortlessly beautiful—if not for the sharp glare she shot at us.
The cigarette in Aimar’s hand vanished into thin air.
I cleared my throat. “What happened?”
“They’re starting the ceremony,” Zenith sighed. “Mother is calling for you.”
She stepped closer, and I glanced at Aimar. “Shall we?”
A look of hesitation crossed his face. “You guys go first—”
“Oye, depressed boy.” Zenith clicked her tongue. “Just come with us, will you?”
He scowled at her. “Can you—?”
I threw an arm around his shoulder, dragging him along. “Let’s go.”
Despite his glare, he didn’t resist.
The sound of laughter and music echoed through the palace as we walked.
Looking down from the inner railing, I noticed the ceremony hall below had been filled with a shallow layer of milk.
Flower petals floated atop the surface, adding a second layer of delicate art.
“Are they going to wrestle or what?” Aimar mumbled as we walked down the stairs.
“Nothing like that, duffer,” Zenith grumbled, leading us to a place on the second floor. “They are going to play a game.”
“A game?” I repeated.
“Yeah.” She glanced back at me.
“No mana allowed. The bride and groom have to find four rings hidden in the milk. Whoever finds the most is said to have dominance in the marriage.”
“I see…”
We reached a spot along the railing, where the entire hall was visible.
Guests murmured with excitement as two figures stepped into the center—Orion, the groom, and his soon-to-be wife.
“Himmel.”
I turned to see Yenna standing nearby, clad in a graceful purple dress that made her look even more beautiful than usual.
Beside her stood Hannah.
Aimar visibly stiffened at the sight of his mother, but I dragged him along.
But much to my annoyance, Zenith quickly stood between us.
I clicked my tongue. “Really?”
Zenith smiled. “Really.”
Yenna, either unaware or choosing to ignore us, simply turned her gaze back to the ceremony. “It’s about to start.”
I looked at them as they bent down, hands inside the milk.
“Begin!”
They started searching for the rings.
Not even a second passed, and the girl found the first ring within seconds, holding it up.
Is she cheating or what?
I sighed as I looked around.
A few noticeable figures caught my attention, one of them being Nerissa and her daughter.
They both sat with other elves, including Mariam.
Just beside them sat… vampires.
“….”
Are the Asura doing this on purpose?
They really made arch-enemies sit together.
I sighed.
But quickly noticed something.
There weren’t many demigods here.
Except for Corettea and Mariam, I couldn’t see any other demigods.
‘What are they up to?’
I wondered as the bride found another ring.
‘Hm?’
Just as I was looking around, I found someone cheering for the bride.
Epione.
She sat on the other side of the balcony along with her… mother.
The beautiful woman with long blue hair and a dead look on her face.
“….”
I quietly looked at them.
‘I should go talk with her later.’
“Himmel.”
I turned to look at Yenna.
“Where is Iffa?”
I shrugged. “She is sleeping—”
Before I could complete my words, a gold cluster emerged from my body, turning into a girl.
“You called, Yenna?” Iffa asked as she jumped into her arms.
“Look out there.” Holding Iffa properly, Yenna looked down. “See how they are playing.”
“…”
I weirdly looked at them both.
Did their relationship grow this much?
Sighing, I looked over at the vampires.
Only to find one person missing.
Siersha.
I rubbed my chin as I glanced at Zenith.
“What?” she asked, looking at me.
I smiled. “Do me a favor.”
****
“….”
As I stood in front of my room, I stared at the door in silence.
I didn’t need to step inside to know someone was already there.
Drawing in a deep breath, I pushed the door open.
My gaze immediately landed on the girl sitting on my bed.
“I said after the ceremony,” I grumbled, glaring at Siersha.
She lifted her head, her crimson gaze meeting mine. “I have no interest in attending.”
I walked toward her. “Where are Edwin and Carson?”
“They had a meeting to join later,” she replied, staring into my eyes.
I nodded, looking at her.
Even though she had no intention of attending the ceremony, she was still dressed for it.
An off-shoulder black gown draped elegantly over her frame, the fabric hugging her in all the right places.
And despite everything, I could feel my body reacting.
I exhaled sharply. “Stand up.”
Her brow arched. “What’s with that tone—”
“If you want my blood, do as I say,” I said. My voice came out colder than I intended.
She looked—no. Glared at me.
A flicker of fury crossed her face. “You promised—”
“I won’t say it again, Siersha.”
Her glare sharpened, her crimson eyes burning.
For a moment, I thought she might refuse.
But then, after a tense moment, she complied.
Softly, she rose to her feet, and I took her place, sitting down on the bed.
She now stood before me.
I rubbed my temples.
I didn’t want to do this.
But I also wanted to see how far she was willing to go.
“Sit,” I said.
She reached for a chair.
“On the floor.”
She stilled, then turned to look at me, her head tilting slightly as if she’d misheard. “What?”
“Did I stutter?” I said, looking at her.
Her jaw tightened, crimson eyes crucifying me.
I almost expected her to snap, to tell me to go to hell.
But then—without breaking eye contact—she lowered herself onto the floor.
The black fabric of her dress pooled around her legs, contrasting against her pale skin.
I leaned forward, studying her. “How badly do you want it?”
Her fingers curled slightly against her lap, but she kept her composure. “You already know the answer.”
I leaned in closer, my voice dropping further. “Beg for it, Siersha.”
“…..”
Her chest rose and fell, but she stayed quiet.
She lowered her gaze.
I reached out, running my fingers through her hair, twisting a lock around them before tugging slightly.
Forcing her to look at me. “Say it.”
“You’re taking this too far—”
I raised my hand.
Slap!
And slapped her cheek.
It wasn’t hard.
Barely any force behind it.
But the effect was immediate.
She went still, her expression utterly blank—like she was struggling to process what had just happened.
I grabbed her chin, tilting her face upward. “Say it.”
She swallowed, her voice barely above a whisper. “…You’ll regret this.”
I sighed, my grip loosening just slightly. “Are you refusing?”
For a long moment, she simply stared at me.
Then, ever so slowly, she parted her lips.
“…Please,” she murmured.
I tilted my head, pretending to consider it. “Not enough.”
Her brows furrowed. “…What?”
I stood up, making her look up to meet my gaze.
“Unbutton my pants,” I said. “And use your mouth.”
“….”
Silence.
Her expression remained blank.
I thought this would be the last line.
She would snap now.
But—
She sighed.
Adjusting her position, she reached forward, fingers brushing against my waistband as she undid the button.
“Stop.”
I took a step back.
She looked up, irritation flashing in her eyes. “What. Now?”
“Are you really going to do it?” I asked, tilting my head.
“Why?” she asked, slowly regaining her confidence. “You want something more?”
I sighed. “Get out.”
Her confidence faltered. “W-why? I-I am doing everything you are asking—”
“I’m not in the mood.” I shrugged. “You can have my blood tomorrow night.”
“B-but—”
“Tomorrow.”
She glared at me, then stood, regaining her composure.
Without another word, she walked out of the room.
I let out a slow breath, stumbling back onto the bed.
Staring at the ceiling, I wondered.
Does my blood really mean more to her than her dignity?
I didn’t know.
I sighed.
Raising my hand that slapped her, I studied it for a long moment.
Well, at least one thing was clear now.
I think I finally know my other sin.
