Her brows tensed up, clearly not anticipating someone to recognize her right away.  She turned to the guard, who quickly shook their head in response.  Without a doubt, the guard understood what her stare meant and he didn’t want any misunderstandings.

But the general gist was that if they wanted to reveal Rebecca’s identity, then the opposing person needed to be equivalent or superior in status.  And in Avalon City, there were only a handful of them.

Not to mention, the people in front of them were youths, who clearly didn’t have that kind of authority yet.

“You may return.” Rebecca nodded and dismissed the guard.

Though there were still noticeable traces of doubt in her eyes.

It goes without saying that she would have this matter investigated.  If the guards in High Table Club seriously revealed her identity, then she didn’t mind letting them have a taste of her wrath.

While Rebecca was distracted by the guard, Xu Feng also took the chance to give Zhao Kai a slap on his back.  “Come back to reality, Kai.” He coolly said and took a seat next to Rebecca.

One of them is for Rebecca over here.”  Startled, the bartender simply nodded their head and began doing their work in creating the drink.

“Who are you and how did you know I’ll be here?” Cautious by nature, Rebecca narrowed her eyes and questioned solemnly.

“Do I look like a prophet?” Xu Feng chuckled in amusement.

Sure, he could be close to it, but definitely not a legit one.

If so, then he wouldn’t have to work so hard every time to achieve his goal step by step.

“He’s your student?” Startled, Rebecca couldn’t believe this unscrupulous man was a student of her friend.

After all, she heard Xu Feng addressing Allison with the term “professor” earlier.
