The message was pre-arranged, along with real-time information about what he was doing.  He merely acted out on a script and the timing of the message itself helped create the belief that Lin Feng was watching the stream from somewhere and commenting on the Boss’ action.

As much as he wanted to be transparent with Carmen, the identity of Eclipse Nova must remain a secret only known by him.  Lin Feng could be exposed, but definitely not Eclipse Nova.
