After taking the “charity donation” from Heaven’s Destiny, Xu Feng swiftly made his way to the city.  Once his presence was no more, Blood Light clenched his fist.  “Why did we have to donate those precious items to him, Commander?” One of them asked with great reluctance on their faces.  Those items were meant to be used as sieging tools once the city’s defense had fallen.

Although they couldn’t use it in the end, that didn’t mean they should just give it out for free.

“Did you think I wanted to give them away as well?” Blood Light coldly snorted and gnashed his teeth.  “What do you think would happen if I didn’t donate them?” He then questioned his subordinates.  Sure enough, every one of them went silent.

Without a doubt, they already knew the answer to such a question.

It was just that they were really unwilling to lose their items simply like that.  Not only had they failed to go for wool, but they even came back shorn.  “The Vanguard Guild had us play from the start.” Blood Light sighed softly and finally realized this upstart guild was not one to be trifled with.

This time was an exception because our manpower was severely lacking.”  Nodding, Carmen agreed with that logic.

With such overwhelming power, it was safe to say that Eclipse Nova trained hard.

In fact, she was doubtful if she was even a match against Eclipse Nova.  Thinking of that, Carmen recalled there was something amiss so she hurriedly brought the topic up.

“By the way, Guild Leader, our members are currently killing the enemies with ease, but it appears that the enemies just want to run away.

They don’t even have any intention of fighting back and just doing their best to dodge.”  When she finished asking her question, Carmen realized the difference between Xu Feng and Eclipse Nova.  Xu Feng might not be the ultimate boss, but he was more comfortable to interact with as opposed to Eclipse Nova.

He spent a few minutes explaining the lesser guilds had already been eradicated from their city due to the weakening.  Of course, the eradication wasn’t actually done physically in the NPC city, but rather on the outside.

Since these guilds need to constantly send players to grind for materials outside to earn income, they would become stun locked and stagnated once such operation was repeatedly hindered.  In some cases, those who were sent out for such tasks were wiped out and received a 24-hour cooldown timer before being able to re-login.  If it was just one or two instances, then it would have been fine.

But if it was their entire exploration team, followed by more pressure.

Then without a doubt, the branch guild could no longer resist unless they received support from the main guild.  And without a doubt, these small branch guilds would rarely ever receive help, given it was still an internal competition.

“If only more of these sieges happen against us, then we can easily earn a lot without doing much.”  “…”  ‘Oi, I did all the hard work while posing as two different people.’ Xu Feng wanted to vent the stress that he had to go through.
