The stones shook intensely for a few moments before coming to a pause, returning to their tranquil-like state.

Magnus then retracted his aura and explained, “These stones will create a force field, capable of trapping the immortals in place and unable to use any utility tools to escape.

As for the Skyland City’s authority itself, don’t worry about them.

I drank a mouthful of water already and even some potions to recover.” Jessica shook her head, took a seat, and leaned on her back.

“I’d rather stay in this state and make you feel guilty if you try to add more work to my plate.”
