Chapter 708: Who To Blame Chapter 708: Who To Blame When Tyler realized that the enemies had only restrained or hindered him without any intention of killing him, he was utterly dumbfounded.  He thought they were trying to mentally break him down, so he attempted to use the chance to give them a painful lesson.

Alas, his movement was restricted, and he was hit with a permanent stun status.  Whenever the stun duration was about to run out, the enemies would cast their stun spells to immobilize him.

“How dare you treat me like this!” Tyler roared in fury.  “Do you think I’ll let this matter go?

I remember all of your faces so you better watch out for my revenge!” He continued, his eyes turning bloodshot.  His threats might have worked in the past, but at this current stage, the tides had changed.

None of those who accepted the quest from the Adventure Association had any fear in their eyes or expressions.

Instead, they were rather excited and even grinning at Tyler’s ridiculous look.

“Where’s the healer?” Suddenly, one of the hired players asked.

“Tyler’s health points are looking low so make sure to heal him to the brim.

The Guild Leader said he cannot die once until all his members drop to level 0.”  “…” Silent, Tyler couldn’t believe his conjecture to be true.

‘That damn bastard is really trying to break me!’  Having realized their ploy, Tyler shouted to his subordinates.

“What are you fools doing?

Hurry up and assist me!”  “Guild Leader!” After being called out suddenly, the subordinates turned their attention to him.

They wanted to rush toward him, but the moment they did, their back got hit by a lethal spell.  Similar situations were happening to those who wanted to dash to Tyler’s side and assist.  The spells and accuracy of it were extremely precise.  “Who shot those spells?” “Where are they coming from?” Dumbfounded, MIST members glanced left and right, trying to search for the killer, only to no avail.

A creepy and chill atmosphere arose amid the confusion.  A few seconds later, MIST members stopped trying to assist Tyler, and the lethal spells subsequently vanished.

And from out of nowhere, a void-flying creature appeared in front of everyone’s vision.

“Sorry, but Tyler must be left alone.

Otherwise, you all risk facing me.” Carmen’s imposing and majestic self emerged as she warned coldly to those who still dared to test her.  However, that wasn’t even the end of their fear when Carmen retreated to the side and Xu Feng took the stage.  “Now kindly pardon my Guild Commander’s tone, but what she meant was that you all should focus on your own fight.” Xu Feng said and pointed at Tyler.  “Guild Leader Tyler of MIST is currently receiving his just punishment.

He must stay there in position, completely and utterly powerless as he watches his very guild collapse.

This is the reward he had reaped when he chose to siege against my city.”  A pin-drop silence occurred within the atmosphere after Xu Feng’s announcement.

Almost no one could have anticipated Xu Feng was capable of invoking such ruthless and merciless action.  It was diabolical to even commit such an act in front of the public eye.  “GUILD LEADER LIN FENG!” Tyler, whose eyes had turned completely red from a mix of anger and frustration, glared at Xu Feng.

“You will definitely face retribution for this!”  “Oh my, why does the culprit always try to paint themselves as a victim?” Amused, Xu Feng signaled for Carmen to command the void-flying creature to fly closer to Tyler.

Shortly after the void-flying creature caused some gusts of wind from flapping their wings, Xu Feng now hovered above the stunned Tyler.  Xu Feng was looking down at Tyler as if he were an emperor while Tyler was the subject.

“Tyler, you and I both know who started this war.” Xu Feng calmly spoke, reminding everyone that it was MIST who repeatedly provoked the Vanguard Guild.  “I’ve already said I will compensate you.

So why must you take it to the extreme?” Tyler gnashed his teeth and retorted.  Hearing that, Xu Feng shook his head.

‘Seems like he had yet to realize who to actually blame.’  Since it appeared that Tyler was still confused and clouded by his frustrated mind, he decided to be the good Samaritan.  He leaped down from the void-flying creature and stood in front of Tyler.  “Tyler, have you not thought about why you chose to make an enemy out of my Vanguard Guild?”  “Huh?” Startled, Tyler twitched his brows and wondered if Xu Feng had gone stupid.

Wasn’t it already a known fact that he tried to siege his city amidst the monster wave crisis?  Not to mention Tyler, even the others were confused by Xu Feng’s question.

Their first initial thought was that Xu Feng wanted to make fun of Tyler even further.

What are they worth?” He snorted, clearly no longer interested in it.

“They may be an upstart guild, but they were capable of one-upping the Reaver Guild,” Dolan smirked and continued to whisper a few more achievements from Vanguard Guild.  And in the end, Dolan’s final statement was that the Vanguard Guild had no manpower and was just a pretend tiger trying to safeguard their treasures.  – As Tyler came back to his senses, he realized Dolan wasn’t present in the battle because he was commanded to leave after his wrong choice of speech.  “Hah… I got done in cause of Dolan?
