She found it reasonable that they would be trying to be the seller of materials rather than products.

After all, they owned the covetable Arcane Vein, which continuously produced materials daily.  It could be said that a lot of their profit came from the Arcane Vein.

As for products and items, there was not much to sell aside from maintenance of player’s equipment in the durability.  “But wait, isn’t Sky Wind Empire restricted to level 50?” Carmen suddenly exclaimed in shock when she tried to search for the location.  “Yes, but not if you have this pass.” Xu Feng smirked and revealed a black pass.

“I got this from Jessica and it allows me to bypass the restriction and enter Sky Wind Empire.”  The black pass had a usage limit of only 10.

Each used to enter the Sky Wind Empire decreased by one.  “Hmm, but is there anything good?” Carmen furrowed her brows.

“And would there even be other players gathering in it?”  “I’m not sure, but anyone who could enter the Sky Wind Empire at this time is capable of establishing some form of connection.” Xu Feng responded honestly.  The truth was he was surprised to learn that the Sky Wind Empire had undergone an insane change.

Apparently, it became the hub of commerce.

It was no wonder why the time when he tried to utilize the bug to teleport to Sky Wind Empire for an early Class Change Quest was denied and got sent to Holy Sanctuary instead.  The hub of commerce meant it was now a special place and the gathering hub for all cities scattered around.  The so-called level restriction could be disregarded as well.

Only those qualified and earned a black pass could enter.  And on the off chance that there were no players gathered, Xu Feng could still take the chance to purchase something in auction.  A hub of commerce was essentially the golden place to grab his hand on rare and valuable items.  ‘Since things turned out this way, it would be impolite of me to let it slip away.’ He sneered inwardly.

If it weren’t for Jessica handing him the black pass, he would have never planned on tackling Miracle Pavilion this soon.  Sometime later, Carmen excused herself to resume her exploration.

With the Oppressive Pillar completed, the only thing remaining was the Training Hall overseen by Razor and Brutus.  The town was still not ready for opening because security was still an issue.  Unlike NPC cities or towns, player-owned towns or cities could be siege and conquered.

It was a different type of siege as opposed to what MIST did.  When MIST attempted their siege, their objective was to ruin the NPC city itself, not try to conquer it.

After all, they couldn’t even take over the NPC city regardless if they succeeded or not.  “Well, no point in stalling.” Xu Feng murmured, opting to use one of the usages in the black pass to teleport to Sky Wind Empire.

As soon as it was confirmed by the system, Xu Feng vanished from Haven Wind Town and reappeared at Sky Wind Empire.

Almost immediately, he was greeted by the sight of countless NPC merchants displaying their exotic goods along the wide, pristine streets.  There were also players around, trying to haggle or purchase items from these merchants.

“Sir, your item is a bit too expensive.

Can’t you lower it down?” A player pleaded.

Alas, what they received in response was a cold rebuke.

“Do you think this is some kind of a vegetable store?

Scram for me!”  Shortly after the merchant said their piece, the player was propelled backward.

It was clear that they got knocked back by the merchant.

“Tsk, what’s so good about your items anyway?

There are many other stalls around.” Feeling angry, the player patted themself and walked away to find another stall to haggle.

Similar situations were also happening nearby, leaving Xu Feng utterly speechless.  ‘How did they qualify to get a black pass?’ He wondered.  To haggle, one must first have the reputation required to even negotiate a bargain.

Otherwise, the merchants would just treat you as a nobody.

Baffled by their behavior, Xu Feng continued to stroll around the street.  ‘Hmm, these items are indeed rare, but their price is a scam.’ His eyes glanced around a few notable items but found the pricing to be outrageous.  It just wasn’t worth the price unless one was extremely desperate.

Not to mention, these NPC merchants who set up their stalls in the open could not be relied on.

They were definitely selling genuine items, but the durability or the quality was inferior.  If their items were indeed great, then they would have placed them in the Auction House.

Given that the Sky Wind Empire was now the hub of commerce, the Auction House could be considered the main one.  Shaking his head, Xu Feng lost interest in the stalls.

He had hoped that maybe luck would bestow upon him and stumble on some amazing items.  However, there were none that had caught his eye.

It was either the item was not up to par, or the price was way over the market value.  Just as he was prepared to make his way to the Auction House, he was called out by someone.

“Excuse me, but by any chance, are you affiliated with the Vanguard Guild?”  Xu Feng halted his steps, turned around, and noticed a female player.

His eyes narrowed around her chest, inspecting the guild emblem that was equipped in it.  ‘Someone from the Cyclone Guild?’ Since he didn’t bother wearing a mask and had his guild emblem equipped, choosing to go by the identity Cool Wind, he didn’t expect to be recognized so soon.  Nevertheless, he feigned a confused look, raised an eyebrow, and asked, “You are?”  “Ah, pardon me.

I go by the name Floral Witch, from the Cyclone Guild.” The female player introduced herself, seemingly excited that she managed to encounter him.
