“500 huh-” Before Xu Feng could finish his words, Floral Witch interrupted and flashed another five.  “1,000 gold coins.” She declared.  “…”  While Xu Feng was rendered speechless by her straightforwardness, Floral Witch mistaken his silence as displease.  She pursed her lips and continued, “1,000 gold coins and 100,000 dollars.”  With how unwilling or reluctant she was to offer 100 thousand dollars, Xu Feng had a suspicion.  “Um, by any chance, did you convert all your wealth to exchange for the gold coins?” He asked in a baffled tone.

Sure enough, Floral Witch appeared as if a cat got caught in the end.

Overpaying was already baffling, but to remain ignorant of the situation was beyond common sense.  “Who told you that market price and suggested you go ahead with it?” He continued, wanting to figure out the source.

He highly doubted someone like her would risk something this high without any encouragement or suggestions from others.  “It’s my maid.

She researched the market price and knew it was a big investment.
