“Tsk, they’re lucky alright.” He clicked his tongue in disbelief.  While he was clearly displeased by the result, Xu Feng also secretly checked and realized that Lethal Corp only had two Colossus.  “No need to feel angry.

Even two Colossus would pose difficulty to them, given their terrain is the worst in defending.” Xu Feng calmly said.  The Divine World was still quite fair in the end.

It allocated the necessary amount of Colossus to certain cities.

Sure, it would be difficult to repel them, but it definitely was doable.  The only confusing matter was that the Reaver Guild’s main base city somehow attracted five Colossus.

Although Xu Feng wasn’t sure what they did, he knew the Reaver Guild definitely tried to rapidly expand and attracted the most aggro from the Colossus.  As for Star Falls City, it wasn’t as appetizing in the eyes of Colossus, so it managed to avoid the crisis.  The previous monster wave that was sent to them which enabled the subsequent siege from MIST were simply scouts.

In other words, the scouts deemed the city to be worthless, and aligned with Xu Feng’s plan the entire time.  The Oppressive Pillar appearance was indeed somewhat imposing, but in front of an Epic Boss type like the Colossus, it was just a plaything.  This was also why he rarely developed the Star Falls City much aside from the increase of population.  NPCs might have cared about the population rate, but the Colossus doesn’t.  What they cared about was the advanced development and the potential of the city that could be their operating base in the future.  “Feng, how is that supposed to make me feel?

His eyes were glued to the plant-like creature that had been growing within the monster wave.  Yet his shock had merely just begun when he spotted numerous plants-like creatures from all sorts of directions.

He was about to pull his guns and shoot down those plants.

However, he suddenly recalled how nonchalant Xu Feng reacted.  ‘Wait a minute.

We don’t deal with it.

What did he mean by that?’ Confused, Zhao Kai slowly turned to him.

He raised his finger and pointed at the plants.

“Are those creatures summoned by you?”  “What do you think?” Xu Feng chuckled and responded.

Almost immediately, Zhao Kai plopped to the ground.

“You’re a perverted freak, Feng.

So what are those plants doing?”  “The plants are growing because the monster wave stampede is damaging it.

Once accumulated enough, a large blast will be struck on the commanding Colossus.” Xu Feng explained.

Having increased his level during the past days, he managed to snag enough Origin Points to upgrade another one of the skills: Verdant Collapse.  Verdant Collapse enabled him to summon massive plant-like constructs.  When there was any healing or damage done to the plant, it would result in its growth.  Right now, thanks to the large amount of damage that was caused by the monster, these plant-like creatures have already grown fully.  There had yet to be any other actions taken because Xu Feng wanted it to overload in its accumulation.  ‘A Colossus wouldn’t be down that easily.’ He wielded his staff and commenced the offense.  From the beginning, he had already located all the monsters capable of healing and those capable of mass destruction.  Everything was highlighted in the system map.  “Kai, get ready to shoot the target I’ve just sent you.” He said.

Within the blink of an eye, the plant started to erupt and stretched its vine out to specific targets.  The targets who got struck by the vine struggled in their movement.

It roared thunderously, with some even attempting to cut off the vines.  Alas, the more they tried, the tighter and stronger the vines turned into.

And in the very next moment, the vines started to illuminate and a surge of exploding power reverberated throughout the interior of the monster.  KABOOM!

A large mushroom cloud of smoke emerged, and the Colossuses, who had been leading from behind the monster waves became alerted.  One of the Colossus, their height greatly resembled a tall mountain, their white coating of sturdy rock muscles, made them easy to spot no matter how far one was.

They stepped forward and forcefully pulled out the roots of the plant.  Shortly after, it crushed the plant into a mini ball-like form.  “H-He just destroyed the plant like that?” Astonished, Zhao Kai’s mouth was left agape.

He had initially thought whatever skill Xu Feng used would have turned the tide.  But only after a few decent results did that glimpse of hope shatter into numerous pieces.
