Chapter 794: Malefic Order Guild
Having been outplayed and shackled to the ground, CarnageBound tried his best to break free from the chains.
It was just a pity that he didn’t get the chance to do so.
Xu Feng was not a charitable person to let him get an opportunity to escape.
“Sorry, but trash does not get to decide whether to be free or not.” Xu Feng mused and channeled a beam of concentrated light energy.
Judgment Ray!
The skill was capable of ignoring the enemy’s defense, and Xu Feng targeted CarnageBound’s exposed Critical Flesh Point, dealing double the damage.
BAM!
Normally, CarnageBound would have been blasted to a few distances, but given that he was shackled, he remained in place.
However, that wasn’t a great thing. Being blasted by the impact yet remaining in place caused his health to drop by another significant percentage.
While Xu Feng effectively caused CarnageBound to suffer, he noticed his cooldown came back up.
‘Good timing.’ He thought to himself. Earlier, when the Swordsman had launched a sneak attack, Xu Feng had activated Absolute Undoing and Sanctuary Light.
Absolute Undoing removed all the buffs that the Swordsman had and received damage scaled with the total value of the removal effect. Followed afterward was Sanctuary Light— the attack that he had displayed for all to see.
From an outsider’s perspective, it appeared that his Sanctuary Light attack was the one that caused the Swordsman to lose 70% of his health.
But in reality, it was a combination of both spells. Naturally, the cooldown of these two skills was quite long, prompting Xu Feng to stall around and wait patiently for the skills to come back up.
Now that it had returned, Xu Feng was no longer in the mood to converse further with CarnageBound.
He really wasn’t kidding when he would figure out their identity sooner or later. Their faces might be covered, but just based on the clues, he could track and pinpoint them later on.
Just when Xu Feng was about to make a move, a sudden dreadful aura emitted from CarnageBound.
The dreadful aura quickly consumed the battlefield, prompting the nearby fights to temporarily pause for a moment.
“What’s going on over there?” Alarmed, Gentle Wind narrowed her eyes and shifted her attention to Xu Feng’s position.
“This dreadful aura is coming from that CarnageBound?” Startled, Herald Fist was baffled by the situation. He had already done his best to improve his attributes and overall combat experience. Yet he was still left in the dust by these players from the other plane.
How could he not be frustrated?
Meanwhile, CarnageBound’s subordinates erupted into cheer upon noticing the change.
“Hahaha, our leader is finally getting serious!” One Arcane Mage laughed sinisterly.
“Heh, that Honorary Elder of Vanguard Guild isn’t bad. To force our leader to use his ultimate skill meant that he got some skills.” Another subordinate of CarnageBound jeered in response. They were a Knight Lancer as well, but when compared to their leader, the former was still incompetent.
With the attention now on Xu Feng and CarnageBound, the latter roared thunderously and shattered the chains.
“You’re dead now, healer!” CarnageBound gripped his lance tightly. There was a powerful red aura constantly emitting from his body.
His power surged forward, and it was clear that his attributes were still steadily increasing.
As the crowd, especially the four major guilds were stunned and startled, Xu Feng remained silent.
He finally understood why the enemies went to such lengths to target his guild.
“So you had the Mad Alchemist on your side.” He muttered, his words alarming CarnageBound in an instant.

“W-What?” CarnageBound was extremely shocked by the term.
‘How did he know we have an alchemist on our side?’ He wondered silently.
He was even more baffled why Xu Feng called their alchemist with the word mad. Even though it was true that the alchemist was very eccentric and unpredictable, CarnageBound didn’t know how Xu Feng knew about their alchemist’s characteristics.
Finally, one thing seemed to become positive for CarnageBound.
“I see… no wonder you decided to snatch a few slots from the Hall of Resonance. You wanted to please the alchemist and lure him to your guild.” Infuriated, CarnageBound’s rage intensified as he charged ahead, eagerly wanting to kill Xu Feng.
Alas, before he could deal any actual damage with his rage mode, CarnageBound plopped to the ground, and his health bar went straight to zero.
THUD!
The atmosphere turned deathly silent, with many failing to comprehend the situation.
In one moment, it seemed like CarnageBound was about to rain hell everywhere, but in the next instance, the frightening powered-up CarnageBound plopped to the ground like a dead fish.
Everyone only came back to their senses when they saw Xu Feng stepping on top of CarnageBound’s dead body.
“Members of the Malefic Order Guild. Buckle up and listen. Surrender now and drop half of your inventory. Otherwise, face death.” Xu Feng declared loudly.
“Malefic Order Guild?”
“They’re from the Malefic Order Guild?”
Almost immediately, the four major guilds were astonished by the sudden revelation of their enemies.
As for Vegan Life people, they were dumbfounded as to how Xu Feng managed to figure out CarnageBound’s affiliation.
‘This can’t be considered my negligence, right?’ Jackson wondered silently, fearing retaliation from his Guild Leader and the people of Malefic Order Guild.
Although the atmosphere was tense and grim, someone from the crowd suddenly shouted.
“Revenge for our leader!”
“It’s do or die anyway!”
People of the Malefic Order Guild already realized the mission was a complete failure. Not to mention, their affiliation was exposed, so they could only try their best to salvage the losses.
“For Vegan Life!” They all shouted unanimously, refusing to admit they were from the Malefic Order Guild.
None of them were able to anticipate that their leader’s power-up not only failed to deal any damage but ended up being killed in an instant.
Such an unbelievable situation had certainly taken them by surprise, and their morale had taken a drastic dip.
Despite their clamoring for revenge, it didn’t take more than 10 minutes before they were all wiped out, leaving only the two actual Vegan Life people alive, albeit barely.
