Chapter 795: Ravaging Tyrant
The two remaining players of Vegan Life were none other than Jackson and KaleSalad.
Kale Salad was the representative who had entered the meeting prior to the siege to discuss paying up whereas Jackson was the Guild Commander of Vegan Life.
They were kept alive but suppressed and detained simply because Xu Feng had commanded so.
The other players who were from Malefic Order Guild had all vanished, clearly choosing to go offline and wait for the timer to run out.
“Honorary Elder, what should we do now?” Gentle Wind stepped forward and asked.
However, Xu Feng paid no heed to them and was busy with the system interface. With the death of CarnageBound and its members, the barrier around the City Hall was also dispelled automatically.
Thus, communication was back online and Xu Feng instantly messaged Carmen. She had not chosen to revive because, with the barrier in place, she would be forced to respawn at another nearby city.
As for her own revival item, it was disabled.
Finally, the last option to be revived by a Cleric was also temporarily unable and Xu Feng understood why that was the case.
‘To think the Mad Alchemist was already making his moves this early on. She really concealed herself well.’ Xu Feng’s eyes narrowed.
The Mad Alchemist was a nickname for this particular player—mainly because she always managed to concoct ridiculous yet powerful potions.
And one of them happened to be known as Elixir of the Ravaging Tyrant aka RT.
Ravaging Tyrant was an elixir that increased the user’s attributes, and their attack power by 300% for 5 minutes.
Besides the increase in power, there was also something called the Anti-Revival Curse.
The curse itself meant any enemies slain by the user under the RT’s effect could not be resurrected for 30 minutes. The curse only involved the player’s skill and item, but not the System. It was why Carmen could have chosen to revive in another city, but refrained from doing so.
But with great power comes great consequences. The side effect of using RT was tremendous. Unlike most ridiculous power-up items that would weaken the user, this one had a unique side effect called Flesh Collapse.
Once the 5-minute effect was up, the user’s body began to rupture violently, their skin splitting apart as raw power forced itself out.
Their every bone fractured, causing unbearable agony as their body becomes a ticking time bomb.
Even with the Pain Tolerance set at a low rate, they would still experience the pain vividly.
Within 10 seconds, if no purification or some form of cleansing was performed, the user explodes into a bloody mist, losing 1 level and rendering their corpse unrecoverable for 1 hour.
But if the user survives, they are left with 1 HP and afflicted with “Tyrant’s Wretched Husk,” making them unable to regain HP through any means for 20 minutes.
Of course, during that time was the perfect opportunity to kill them, given that any tiny little bit of damage would be enough.
Having recalled that kind of information, Xu Feng found it laughable that CarnageBound’s subordinates were kept in the dark.
What ultimate skill were they yapping?
It was just a potion concocted by the Mad Alchemist without any care for the user.
‘The Mad Alchemist is still a novice at this moment though.’ Xu Feng narrowed his eyes.
The RT that CarnageBound consumed must have been a prototype or a testing phase. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been canceled out so easily by his Absolute Undoing, resulting in CarnageBound instant death.
In his past timeline, nullifications and dispel scrolls were extremely common.
There was no way the Mad Alchemist would have allowed her potions to be easily canceled out. If that had happened, then she wouldn’t have become so infamous yet famous at the same time.
Either way, Xu Feng was somewhat glad that he discovered this crisis early on. Although it cost Carmen to die once, he was determined to help her get revenge.

Sometime later, he was about to head inside the main room, only to be warned by Gentle Wind.
“There are NPC guards guarding the place. They would kill anyone approaching anywhere near the main room.” She explained and continued, “The reason why the enemy didn’t bypass us was because they couldn’t afford to ignore us and go straight to the main room. One of them who attempted to bypass us was killed immediately by the NPC guards.”
“Rest assured. I know my limits. Just maintain the situation and keep those two from Vegan Life alive for now. If they dared to log off, then kill them repeatedly until their equipment is stripped bare.” Xu Feng responded.
He naturally understood why there were NPC guards. He was the one who told them to do so after all. As for Carmen, she must have likely taken the burden and was protecting the guards.
Not to mention, the city’s core couldn’t be moved, meaning Carmen was trapped in the room.
While Xu Feng made his way toward the main room, Gentle Wind was rendered speechless.
‘Just how many arrangements has he made?’ She wondered silently. Now that the crisis was essentially over, she realized how fearsome Xu Feng was.
“He’s really different.” Suddenly, from behind her, came a voice that took her by surprise.
“Geez, must you scare me like that, Breeze?” Gentle Wind exhaled and turned to Autumn Breeze.
“Wasn’t my intention.” Autumn Breeze shrugged in response. She didn’t make any attempt to sneak behind her. It was just that Gentle Wind was too focused and distracted to pay attention to her surroundings.
Shaking her head, Gentle Wind changed the topic. “Anyway, what do you mean by he’s really different?”
“How should I say it?” Autumn Breeze furrowed her brows and rubbed her chin. “Let’s just say, he was always the type to be in a bad mood. The stubborn and difficult to interact type.”
“Difficult to interact?” Alarmed, Gentle Wind nearly wanted to laugh. The former clearly knew how to interact and even exploit others.
“Who knows, but he definitely changed since the Divine World became live. I believe the change also came from the Vanguard Guild. Even my little brother rose to a level I failed to calculate.”
