Chapter 799: Dawnshire City Aftermath
As the numerous players in Dawnshire City cheered enthusiastically, they still began to start clearing and cleaning the field.
With the monsters all repelled, numerous missions had appeared in the Adventure Association—each mission offering generous rewards.
Thus, many players flocked over there and accepted the mission to restore Dawnshire City’s glory.
While they were excited to restore their city to glory, back at the City Hall, the four major guild leaders stood in position.
“Honorary Elder Cool Wind, what should we do with the Vegan Life members?” Night Coin asked, his eyes laced with killing intent. His Silver Legion members suffered the highest casualty count thanks to them.
After all, most of his members who had to retreat to recover were close to their camp. In other words, when Vegan Life revealed their true intention, his people were the ones who got slaughtered.
Those slaughtered were all elites and wore a ton of great equipment. Not only were they robbed, but they were also suffering from penalties, losing their levels in the process.
“Guild Leader Night Coin can relax.” Xu Feng naturally heard of the news once he had Veronica tally up the casualties count caused by Vegan Life.
“You will be compensated with Vegan Life wealth.”
“Thank you,” Night Coin said, but it wasn’t his true desire. Getting compensated was natural, considering they didn’t try any funny business. But personally killing each Vegan Life member was his objective.
When their city was under siege, these people had the nerve to collude with players from the other plane to sabotage.
How could Night Coin suppress his rage?
Not to mention Night Coin, even Dango Tiger, Herald Fist, and Gentle Wind wanted nothing more than to skin these people alive. They suffered casualties as well, albeit not as much as the Silver Legion.
“They’re already suffering from not being able to receive any of the rewards. Also, their dead members also dropped numerous loot.” Xu Feng explained and shifted his gaze toward Jackson and KaleSalad.
He walked toward them, with the other guild leaders following him closely behind.
When KaleSalad noticed they were heading toward them, he subsequently stopped conversing with Jackson. Simultaneously, Jackson also kept a stoic expression and feigned blindness.
As if they would reveal anything or speak to them at all.
Seeing their rebellious reaction, Xu Feng mused. He had witnessed many sore losers like them who thought remaining silent would work.
“You two might as well go offline.” Xu Feng suddenly said. “If you don’t wish to converse then there’s no need to force yourself. We’ll just kill you repeatedly until your level goes to 0 and all your gears shattered or dropped.”
“Hmph, do you think this is still the start of the Divine World?” In response, Jackson sneered and taunted.
Most players had already learned to turn off accepting revival from non-teammates or guilds affiliated to prevent being killed back to level 0.
“No, but do you think I don’t have an idea of what’s in your mind?” Xu Feng chuckled. “You’re probably thinking once you die, you’ll just respawn elsewhere, right?”
Jackson didn’t respond, but his conceited expression made it clear that was precisely what he would do.
As for KaleSalad, his face remained stoic, almost as if it had been injected with Botox. It was stiff and completely unreadable.
“There’s no point in wasting time conversing with them.” Gentle Wind suddenly chimed in and said. “The fact that they backstabbed us in such a crisis made it clear that they were determined to be our enemy.”
“Wind is right. Wasting our time on them is not worth it. We should just eradicate them all and their company’s backing.” Herald Fist snorted. For a company that allowed such a plan to be in motion was something he disdained.
However, Herald Fist’s statement simply made Jackson laugh loudly.
“Eradicate us?” He raised an eyebrow in amusement. “Do you think your trashy Zhang’s Group is capable? I’ll look forward to seeing you try.”
“Overconfident brute indeed.” KaleSalad opened his mouth and agreed with Jackson.
In response, KaleSalad’s face was bashed by Herald Fist.

“At least I’m not the one tied up.” Herald Fist sneered and gave another punch to KaleSalad. The latter health bar quickly decreased and was about to reach zero.
‘Yes, just kill me already.’ KaleSalad subtly glanced at his health bar and wished to be killed even faster.
Due to the restraint, the penalty would have been increased if he forcefully logged out. It was better to be killed and then logged out. Therefore, he intentionally spoke up to provoke Herald Fist into killing him.
Just when his health bar dropped beneath 5% and he was about to succeed in his plan, KaleSalad’s eyes widened in shock.
From having less than 5% health, his health bar suddenly recovered. Before long, his health bar was back to full, almost as if he had never been hit.
“You!” Angered, KaleSalad glared at Xu Feng with fury.
“Did you think I’d let you die that easily?” Amused, Xu Feng calmly patted Herald Fist, signaling for the latter to retreat.
“Death in the Divine World is nothing for you. But what about a permanent one?” He continued, sending a cold shiver down KaleSalad’s spine.
The atmosphere turned silent after Xu Feng’s statement. None of them had heard of a permanent death.
“A permanent death?” Amidst the silence, Carmen suddenly arrived at the scene through a Void Portal, shocking everyone at present. “What do you mean by that?”
“It’s not an actual one, but we can make it so that KaleSalad and Jackson here would never be able to play anymore.” Xu Feng laughed sinisterly and stared at them.
“So, want to gamble your future life in the Divine World away or will you comply and spill everything that we asked?”
This was the ultimatum that Xu Feng had decided to give them. Regardless of their decision, it didn’t matter much to him. All he wanted was to make them piss their pants off and regret this foolish decision forever.
‘Even if you spill everything, you still won’t be able to play anymore.’ Xu Feng inwardly exclaimed.
