“Phew, that was damn exhausting.” He burped aloud and turned to Xu Feng. “You mind grabbing that napkin and wiping the back of my sweat. It was really tiring to act dumb and ignorant to stay out of the conversation.”

“You need to improve it better.” Xu Feng rolled his eyes and threw the napkin toward him. “Wipe it yourself. Your performance was crap and your sister knew you were acting dumb from the start.”

“Eh, that’s impossible! She didn’t even react.”

“That’s because she didn’t want to make the conversation awkward. What good would it do for us all if she exposed your terrible act?”

Stunned, Zhao Kai scratched his head, feeling embarrassed. His face was burning somewhat in red. He had thought his acting skill was amazing, but that was just his wishful thinking.

“Ugh, but still, I can’t believe you actually schemed against me. Did you know how baffled I was?” Finally, he clicked his tongue and returned to the topic.

Nodding, Zhao Kai proved it by standing up and moving in an awkward manner.
