“Don’t open your eyes.” Xu Feng warned solemnly. “I’m going to infuse some of my Energy Force, so use it to coat yourself with a defensive shield.”

Thanks to Xu Feng’s timely assistance, Zhao Kai felt his soul being covered in a strong-like barrier. The nauseous feeling also dissipated, almost as if it never existed in the first place.

Using the momentum to advance further, Zhao Kai resumed his pathing and soon, he discovered the powerful force that seemed to be running amok in his body.

“What is that, Feng?” Zhao Kai asked confusingly, his eyes remained tightly shut.

“That’s the Energy Force you have been accumulating so far. Think of it as a wild animal and now you are the tamer who needs to remind the wild animal who is the real boss.” Xu Feng calmly explained.

Force Foundation was the technique that enabled the user to accumulate Energy Force. Despite being able to accumulate them, the user wouldn’t actually feel its existence no matter what.

This was why Zhao Kai never sensed any difference until now when Xu Feng finally activated the dormant Energy Force.

The process and explanation was complicated, to say the least.

Amidst the chaos, Zhao Kai breathed out a sigh of relief as his eyes glinted in a cold light. Though it was only for a brief moment before his eyes returned to tranquility.

“Phew, I thought I was in the military doing some hardcore training.” Zhao Kai used his arm sleeve to wipe off the sweat on his forehead. It was then he noticed the room was nearly in shambles.

“What the hell happened here?” He exclaimed in horror.

“You happened—” Before Xu Feng could complete his sentence, the VIP Room’s door was barged open.

It was then followed by a group of bodyguards who entered with their hands holding guns.

“Secure the perimeter!” One of them commanded loudly.

“The VIPs are safe, but the room is unrecognizable.” They continued, scanning the room and seemed to be searching for the intruder.

When the room was scanned thoroughly, the same bodyguard who gave repeated commands rushed over to Xu Feng and Zhao Kai’s side.

“Are the two of you alright?” They asked in concern. “I’m Bobby, the bodyguard assigned to this hotel. There was a loud commotion and large signs of energy waves. We rushed over here immediately upon the detection.”

Bobby’s face was rather pale, almost as if he was frightened by the situation.
