Chapter 845: Ginangelic
The contract between the Vanguard Guild and Zhao Xin’s Guild was kept a secret.
To ensure her secrecy, Zhao Xin wouldn’t come to the town herself. Instead, she had sent a representative on her behalf.
‘What was the in-game username again?’ Xu Feng furrowed his brows as he glanced at the hundred-plus friend requests that were on his list. So many people wished to add him, each with their own set of motives and objectives.
To send a message didn’t require a friend request unless the other party turned on the feature to receive messages from friends only.
He, for one, didn’t turn on such a feature and allowed all types of messages.
Of course, that didn’t mean he didn’t have any filter that would automatically blacklist specific content or detail that he didn’t wish to care about.
“Ginangelic, that’s the name.” He finally recalled and searched for the keyword.
Sure enough, the name popped up and it showed that the friend request was sent 13 hours ago.
He twitched his mouth in disbelief. ‘This Xin is really one annoying and scheming woman.’
Zhao Xin was surely a pestering one and she seemed certain that the deal they made at Oasis Hotel was guaranteed to be successful. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have informed Ginangelic in advance to send him a friend request prior to their actual discussion even taking place.
The username itself was also a somewhat combination of angelic and the woman’s name, Gina.
To ensure his sanity, Xu Feng opted to change her nickname to simply Gina in his friend list. Gina’s username would remain intact, but in Xu Feng’s friend list, she would only be Gina.
He rarely added people as friends in the Divine World—especially people he had never met or interacted with before. But Gina was an exception because she was technically a tenant now. A tenant who would constantly pay him to stay in his town.
How could he not add such a person as his friend?
He must ensure they pay promptly and on time, otherwise, they could scram.
Sometime later, Xu Feng accepted the friend request and granted her permission to teleport to the town.
Despite granting her the permission, he didn’t expect they were a bit of a klutz. Klutz as in somewhat clumsy and foolish.
Ginangelic: Sorry, Guild Leader Lin Feng, but how do I teleport to your town? There’s no option for it on the Teleport Platform.
Since Xu Feng hadn’t officially opened the town for players to join, it was only natural that their town wasn’t listed as an option in the Teleport Platform. Therefore, Gina should have checked for the special list option.
The special list was like its name stated: special. It was for a location that had special conditions to enter. Locations such as Willowbrook Village!
Willowbrook Village remained discreet and aside from him, no other players had managed to discover it. After all, its location was located at the Verdant Valley shrouded in fog.
It was extremely dangerous for low-level players to even explore much there.
And as for the current mainstream players, they had long surpassed the level limit there and wouldn’t bother to waste their time at Verdant Valley. They would rather spend their time on higher-level maps suitable for them to grind or explore.
Hence, nobody had discovered it, but still, they had discovered some secret locations—just not as good as Willowbrook Village.
However, the knowledge of special list locations in the Teleport Platform was common knowledge.
‘Ugh, why would Xin send such a representative if she didn’t even know about the special list?’ Xu Feng knitted his brows and explained the process to her.
Lin Feng: Under the bottom left corner, there’s a panel that’s labeled special list. Click on that and the option for Haven Wind Town should be available.
Once the explanation process was done, Xu Feng turned to Veronica and explained, “There’s someone called Ginangelic from the Dark Legion Guild who will arrive. They are allocated an empty lot to construct their Guild Residence here. You will be responsible for receiving them.”

Astonished, Veronica was once again taken aback by another sudden development.
“Were the Dark Legion Guild always a part of the town?” She raised the question.
“No, it was just made less than a day ago. The relevant information is sent to your mail inbox already.” Xu Feng shook his head and clarified.
“The guild doesn’t have that much secret and you’re a part of the main administration system. There’s a special session that may be updated without any prior preparation. So do check that occasionally.” He continued, afraid of Veronica feeling like she wasn’t part of the guild.
Since she was given the task of handling 90% of the administrative work, the recent revelation must have come as a shock to her.
It was the equivalent of a secretary not knowing what their boss was doing to the company. The secretary would start to wonder if they were even necessary and might even feel like an outcast.
Xu Feng understood that kind of mindset because he was always the same.
The only difference was that he didn’t have anyone bother to explain things to him and he was just left to muster the situation forward in a brute-force manner.
Meanwhile, letting her accompany the representative from the Dark Legion Guild was essentially propelling her status to be eligible to be a representative of the Vanguard Guild.
At this moment, not everything should be personally done by Xu Feng.
He was a Guild Leader and to show the town around or guide another representative guild person was beneath his status.
Previously, he had to do everything by himself because there was literally no one available except him. Additionally, he couldn’t trust anyone with a proper vision to handle negotiations or to uphold their authority.
However, with Veronica as an addition, Xu Feng could finally relax a bit and push the task to her.
A few seconds later, Veronica’s expression turned solemn.
“I understand. I’ll guide them around the town.” She said, accepting the task and responsibility lay behind it.
