“How many mobs are we supposed to kill?” Xu Feng raised the question, much to the astonishment of Carmen.

“Oh, there’s actually something you didn’t know?” Carmen responded sarcastically.

“I thought you were the know-it-all guy.” She continued.

Finally, it was at this moment that Xu Feng came to realize one thing. She was furious at him, and he needed to identify the cause and fast.

‘Crap, I was sure I didn’t do anything that annoyed her.’ He pondered silently. Almost all the guild resources were available for her to take.

It could be said that she was eligible to access everything at 99%. The only remaining percentage were things that he kept an absolute secret from everyone.

He extended his hand and then slammed his palm on the ground.

“Almighty God, adhere to my prayer and commence a holy summon!” He shouted a somewhat broken chant to summon Flint aka the Mini Earthrender.

Soon, Flint emerged from his Pet Space who had remained inside to train and enjoy life to the fullest. Upon receiving the call to summon, Flint emerged, flapping its tiny wings.

Flint initially wanted to rush over to Xu Feng but received his signal to hover to Carmen. With no questions asked, Flint chirped happily and rushed to Carmen’s side.

Sure enough, upon being exposed to the coy action and appearance of Flint, her anger subsided somewhat.

However, after she caressed Flint a bit, she moved him toward her shoulder before darting her eyes at Xu Feng.

She was never displeased about lacking resources whatsoever. Instead, she was displeased that he had taken drastic action against the Vegan Life Guild and the mastermind behind that originated from another plane.

“I know you asked me not to take revenge, but they went over the tolerance limit I set for myself.” Xu Feng took off his mask and said solemnly.

“You might care about the big picture and want us to stay passive to bide our time, But the more passive one behaves, the more arrogant the enemies would become.”

“Must we really make the situation chaotic like this? They failed in their scheme, so it was technically a win for us. But now, the people behind Vegan Life would never let us go for purging them.”

Was she angry at their scheme?

Was she eager to seek revenge?

No, because she understood the gap between them.

The siege of Colossus already demonstrated that their guild was severely lacking elites. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be simply Xu Feng who came to her rescue but a whole group of people.
