Chapter 886: Operation Erase
As Veronica was prepared to commence the operation, she received multiple message notifications.

Immediately, Veronica thought it was the Guild Leader and her bestie.

She had a smile on her face, but upon opening them, her smile faded away.

“Is there something wrong?” OneManMedia, who had been paying attention to her, asked in concern.

After all, this operation was being handled by Veronica.

If something was amiss and Veronica canceled the operation, then his stream would be delayed as well. He had already received many curses from the top-paid viewers for not uploading any decent content for a while.

“Nothing, it’s just that some other guilds wanted to fish in troubled waters.” Veronica sneered coldly.

Due to the passive-like state of the Vanguard Guild at Garak Forest, some guilds wanted to take advantage of them and offered a lending hand.

Naturally, those hands were poisoned and once they accepted them, the Vanguard Guild itself might crumble.

Of course, there was still a minority who genuinely wanted to lend a hand to them.

However, Veronica couldn’t accept them. It wasn’t that she couldn’t, but that she didn’t want to.

With Xu Feng and Carmen disappearing, the responsibility ultimately landed on her. If she were to receive help now, then wasn’t that equivalent to announcing to everyone that she was incapable?

Moreover, she would be disappointing Xu Feng who had given her such a heavy responsibility. This kind of responsibility wasn’t something you could just get unless you had the trust of the other person.

‘I’ll have to handle this crisis alone and shield the Vanguard Guild. We’re called Vanguard and not a Defensive or Coward Guild.’ Veronica silently exclaimed. She was more determined than ever after seeing these message notifications.

The more they refused to believe she could handle it, the more she wanted to shove a middle finger in front of their face once she proved them wrong.

How dare they try to take her lightly!

She would make each one of them regret their action!

As for those who genuinely wanted to help, Veronica could only say sorry for their assistance.

This was her and Vanguard Guild battle!

“Everyone listen up,” Veronica raised her voice and continued, “Commence Operation Erase!”

Operation Erase was the name of this operation which meant erasing their foes and troublemakers who had been causing headaches to the Vanguard Guild.

“Yes, Guild Captain!”

Sometime later, six people immediately teleported out to avoid being spotted leaving the Braum Tavern.

These six people had already removed their Stealth Cloaks and proudly displayed their Vanguard Guild emblem.

Their arrival in the Teleport Platform quickly garnered some attention from the people.

These people didn’t gossip until the Vanguard Guild members had left Garak City and headed into the forest.

“Hah, the Vanguard Guild is really getting a beat down now.”

“Who told them to be so arrogant and announce their town construction? But none of us have seen the town at all.”

“Yeah, I suspect it’s some rundown town so they didn’t dare to show it and just wanted to promote it to scare us. But look who’s the scared one now? Even their Guild Leader is a no-show!”

“I wouldn’t count all the chicken in one basket yet. The Vanguard Guild still dared to send members to the forest this time meaning they were prepared. It’s best to bide your time and not be used as cannon fodders.”

Although most of the people were ridiculing the Vanguard Guild, some who had seen the Vanguard Guild repeatedly counterattacked successfully were hesitant about the development. They had no intention of swimming in the muddy water any longer and being caught in the mess.

Naturally, only a small group of people held such thoughts, with many still wanting to eradicate the Vanguard Guild.

After all, the black market had long opened up with bounty set up for each Vanguard Guild member’s rank.

Despite the bounty being anonymously set up, the fact remained that the rewards were real was enough to entice them to act upon it. This was especially true for Bounty Tag Players who required large sums to advance further.

As news of Vanguard Guild’s development continued to spread in both the community and the Game Forum, Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze soon took notice of it.

Dawnshire City, Silver Wind Guild Residence

“So how is it?” Gentle Wind furrowed her brows and asked softly. “Did your little brother say anything about his Guild Leader?”

Autumn Breeze frowned and shook her head. “My little brother is being trained by Uncle Hou and Alfred. He doesn’t even know about the current situation. As for Xu Feng, he’s also unavailable, but that’s to be expected.”

Autumn Breeze had zero expectations for Xu Feng to be at her beck and call.

After all, he wasn’t that close with her but more so with her brother. If it weren’t for that bridge of relationship, she highly doubted Xu Feng would even entertain her.

Meanwhile, Gentle Wind pursed her lips and stared at Autumn Breeze mysteriously.

“Vortex Viper rejected my suggestion, but I’ve heard from my spies that the Dark Legion had begun to shift their activity. Care to tell me a little bit about that?” Gentle Wind suddenly raised the question.

Upon hearing the Dark Legion’s name being pulled up, Autumn Breeze could only smile in response.

It would have been weird if Gentle Wind still hadn’t figured out the guild she had controlled secretly.

She had long dropped subtle hints about controlling a guild, and only the large-scale dungeon raid had a major flaw for Gentle Wind to investigate.

The Adventure Teams participants were automatically eliminated, and most of the guilds were long established.

Through careful consideration and investigation, it only leaves the Dark Legion Guild, which had no previous foundation to be highly suspicious.

Of course, that was only possible because Autumn Breeze had mentioned that she won the bidding slots. Otherwise, no one else could have imagined or even thought about her.

“I won’t lie to you since it’s going to be exposed sooner or later, but they are shifting to the new town constructed by Vanguard Guild.” Autumn Breeze confessed.
