What Benson did was only in the heat of the moment. Now that the adrenaline rush was cooled, Benson’s face turned ashen white.

‘What have I done?’ Benson cried silently, his eyes staring at one particular comment that came from none other than Dark Night.

Dark Night always kept a low profile, so Benson instantly knew it wasn’t some impostor using the name. Instead, it was his Team Leader.

However, Dark Night was one thing, the other thing that truly frightened him was Veronica’s questions.

He swallowed a mouthful of saliva, raised his chin up slowly, and gazed at Veronica with a look filled with guilt and fear.

“I-I didn’t mean to expose my team’s planning.” Benson stutteringly said.

Veronica nearly spat those words aloud. If it weren’t for the fact that Veronica knew he didn’t intend any harm, then Benson would have been screwed already.

Why would she even bother to question him?

Nevertheless, Benson’s intent might not have been to harm the team, but it remained a fact that he had done it.

“Stay put and close out the stream. Your punishment would be decided by Dark Night.” Veronica declared solemnly. Although she could easily punish him, she wanted to delegate the authority to Dark Night.

After all, an incident like this could only be resolved and let go if it was handled by the direct leadership. Leadership as in being in authority over them face-to-face and not by another higher-up.

Think of it like a regular employee, supervisor, and then manager.

Manager was two ranks higher than a regular employee, so it would be overboard if the manager needed to personally discipline the regular employee rather than having the supervisor do it.

Of course, this kind of incident would naturally be put on record and Benson’s chance of being promoted became slim.

Who would want to promote an impulsive person—much less a hopeless simp who could easily expose confidential information in the heat of the moment?

“Benson obeyed the command.” Benson also understood he had messed up real badly and could only accept Veronica’s arrangement.

Upon seeing the poster that indicated 3F, Carmen spread her arms out and cried aloud, “Why are we back here again!”

The difficulty between the 1F to 3F was relatively easy to spot, but once it got to 4F, the difficulty spiked up dramatically.

“I’m starting to believe that 5F is going to be even more insane,” Carmen commented, having fully believed Xu Feng’s deduction of the memorization being a total of 6F.

If it wasn’t, then this kind of difficulty would be insane to do.

This wasn’t even about being extremely good at memorization, but whether you could get lucky or not.

The worst part about this whole ordeal was that even if they believed they spotted a difference, they wouldn’t be able to advance to the next floor unless they provided evidence for the difference.

“Seems like we got lucky this time.” He smiled and pointed out that they could return to 4F immediately. After all, there were 10 divergent paths, and not 9 or any other double digits. 10 was the magic number, and it was their most craved abnormality.

Carmen nodded her head. Suddenly, she had a very bold idea.

“Guild Leader… rather than getting trolled by the system. Why don’t we just keep advancing forward without stopping?” She suggested.

“Keep advancing without stopping?” Dazed, Xu Feng surely had thought about that method before. But the chances of them succeeding were less than 1%.

After all, the possibility of success continued to decrease as they advanced in floors. This was especially true when the System made sure to pull up some ridiculous abnormalities to screw them over.
