Chapter 900: Shiba Seki

Garak City, Teleport Platform

At the Teleport Platform, a streak of lights flickered and a few groups of people emerged from it.

Initially, not many paid attention to the new group. After all, it had already been very common for many players to come to Garak City for the coveted Qualification Profession.

Whether it was to use it for themselves or sell it, the value of the Qualification Profession had taken over the market.

But once the others noticed the guild emblem of the new group of people, they were struck in a daze.

“Isn’t that the Silver Wind Guild emblem? They are also joining the competition for the Qualification Profession?”

“I thought they were busy with a new dungeon raid and prepared for the upcoming level 40s gears?”

“Why did they suddenly change their mind?”

Confusion clouded many who had paid attention to the Silver Wind Guild.

Their recent achievement might not be overly grand as opposed to their first achievement, but that didn’t eliminate the fact that they were still a powerful guild with many allies established.

Who didn’t know Gentle Wind of the Silver Wind Guild was Feng Qing Rou, a recognized heir of the Feng Enterprise?

Thanks to her skyrocketing achievement in the Divine World, she had surpassed her elder brothers in climbing the hierarchy.

Suddenly, the group of people from Silver Wind Guild removed their Stealth Cloak which covered their appearance.

Almost immediately, the crowd became stunned at the arrival of the actual Guild Leader.

“I-It’s Gentle Wind. She actually showed up here personally!”

“Damn, I finally got a screenshot of my goddess! This is definitely going to be my poster.”

“Gasp, is the Silver Wind Guild going to take a large piece of pie at Garak Forest.”

Although some fans of Gentle Wind erupted into cheers, more players realized her appearance meant that something big was happening.

There was no way a Guild Leader of her caliber would suddenly appear without any deep plans or intentions.

“SilentWhisper, where is Braum Tavern?” Gentle Wind ignored the gazes and gossip around her as she asked her the direction.

Previously, SilentWhisper had come here for a mission before the revelation of the Qualification Profession. Thus, she should know more about the geography than her.

Of course, she could have used the map, but using the map would delay quite a bit of time as they needed to constantly check whether they were going in the right direction or not.

“We can arrive there by heading northwest from our current position,” SilentWhisper responded.

“Good, let’s make haste then.” Gentle Wind said. She couldn’t afford to delay her time.

Sure enough, the moment she exited the Teleport Platform, there were many more familiar guilds that the crowd recognized.

Solaris Guild, Tyrant Fist Guild, Phoenix Guild, Starlight Guild, and a few more adventure teams.

As these guilds arrived nearly at the same time, they glanced at each other, with a smile hanging on their faces. Naturally, the smiles contained many meanings, and none of them were happy to see each other.

Although they weren’t hostile, they weren’t on extremely friendly terms either. The bridge to their presence was due to the Vanguard Guild and their current monopolization of Garak Forest.

“The Phoenix Guild is doing very well in Red Forest City.” Blake, the Guild Captain of Solaris Guild mused as he struck up a conversation with Flame Bird.

“Thanks for the compliment,” Flame Bird grinned widely.

It was a compliment and praise, but anyone with discerning ears could sense Blake’s enviousness toward Flame Bird.

By now, it was already an open secret that Flame Bird and her Phoenix Guild were able to become an Overlord at Red Forest City because of the Vanguard Guild’s intervention.

While they succeeded in being the Overlord, their Solaris Guild was still competing with three other guilds in their base city.

To get an edge over them, Blake was ultimately sent to Garak City to strike a deal with Vanguard Guild regarding the Qualification Profession. Since Blake had participated in the large-scale raid previously, he already had some relationships. Thus, it was only right for him to be the representative.

The same was true for everyone else, albeit minus Iceheart’s absence.

Sometime later, they arrived at Braum Tavern, only to notice Gentle Wind was already conversing with Veronica.

“On behalf of the Silver Wind Guild, I thank you for allowing my guild to receive a portion of the Qualification Professions.” Gentle Wind smiled lightly toward Veronica.

In response, Veronica gestured her hand to signal to stop the formality. “Our Guild has businesses with you at the start of the Divine World. The two of us could be considered to be win-win.”

After saying her piece, Veronica’s eyes darted to the newcomers, her mouth curled upward. ‘Is this what the Guild Leader means? Fat sheep waiting to be slaughtered or is it butchered?’

…

Duskwither Hollow, Secret Dungeon

While Veronica was having the eyes of a predator in feasting the sheep, back at the secret dungeon, both Xu Feng and Carmen panted heavily.

They were exhausted and expended most of their mana.

As the final monster fell to battle from the voidlings summoned by Carmen, the two quickly plopped to the ground. It was then followed by a system prompt.

[Wave 6 Completed! You can decide when to start the final battle. All restrictions have been lifted aside from the Ultimate Will skill!]

“I was scared for a second that we wouldn’t have any resting time.” Carmen heaved a sigh of relief when the system prompt indicated that they could decide when to begin.

However, Xu Feng smiled bitterly and corrected Carmen.

“Our resting time won’t be for long, Carmen.” He said.

And he continued by pointing to the sky, “Although we get to decide when to start, the Timer above the sky hasn’t been paused.”

Upon hearing that, Carmen frowned and raised her chin up. Soon, she noticed the Timer was still counting down, causing her face to twitch.

Timer: 01:03:28

“Aish, Shiba Seki!” Carmen pursed her lips and hissed coldly with a frustrated tone.
