Chapter 915: Opening Of Town
Carmen was initially alarmed and was ready to target the person who interrupted them. But her expression quickly changed when she realized it was her bestie.

“Eh, how did you sneak up behind us?” Carmen raised an eyebrow.

“Seems like Crimson Heart managed to craft a new type of utility.” Xu Feng grinned and noticed that Veronica’s presence was very low. It was as if she didn’t exist unless she was right in front of you.

Crimson Heart was an Assassin, so it was only right that she would be crafting stealth-related utilities in her free time to assist her.

After all, she couldn’t possibly confront an enemy head-on as an Assassin.

That would be beyond foolish and asking to be at a disadvantage from the start.

Veronica flashed a bittersweet smile when Xu Feng pointed it out almost immediately.

“Is there anything you don’t know, Guild Leader?” She twitched her mouth.

“Trust me, there’s a lot he didn’t know.” Carmen suddenly chimed in. She held a mysterious smile on her face, causing Veronica to be confused.

“Ahem,” Xu Feng cleared his throat and darted at Carmen.

In response, Carmen stuck her tongue out and shrugged. She naturally refers to the secret dungeon and how Xu Feng shows a vulnerability that only she has seen.

Looking at the two of them suspiciously, Veronica was wondering if they were discussing the incident of their disappearance.

‘Whatever, I’ll know about it if they want to tell me.’ She shook her head and began to relay some of the information.

Naturally, it was a general gist of the overall situation, known to the public already and nothing of importance. They were still outside, after all, so she wouldn’t reveal any core information.

“Oh, right, here’s the ring for you two.” Veronica hurriedly retrieved two rings and handed them over to Xu Feng and Carmen. “These are the Stealth Rings that Crimson Heart has crafted. The materials used are very expensive, so it’s not viable for sale at the moment.”

Carmen received the ring and equipped them right away.

As for Xu Feng, he checked the details of the item and was quite intrigued that Crimson Heart’s smithing level had improved dramatically.

Sometime later, the group arrived at Braum Tavern which had long been reserved. The owner of the Braum Tavern was happy to comply with the reservation. It was an NPC, but even NPCs loved money dearly.

OneManMedia stood up and was about to call out to Veronica as soon as he heard the door opening, but halted in place.

“G-G-Guild Leader?” He stutteringly said, clearly wasn’t ready to meet Xu Feng at his juncture.

Gentle Wind, Herald Fist, Blake, Iceheart, Sunblade, and Moon Arrow all looked up in surprise at his arrival.

While they glanced at him, Xu Feng was also the same.

He was surprised that their guild had allied with quite a few familiar folks. ‘What are the chances that we get to work together again?’

Gentle Wind, Iceheart, and Herald Fist were within his calculation because they were great sheep—customers to them.

Blake, Sunblade, and Moon Arrow were quite foreign after the large-scale dungeon raid, especially Moon Arrow, who hailed from an Adventure Team called Lunar Strikers.

In recent months though, Lunar Strikers had grown tremendously and its influence was spread all across the regions.

As for Sunblade, their Starlight Guild was operating just like Xu Feng had known in the past timeline. They kept their fame and continued to progress rapidly.

Blake, on the other hand, didn’t seem to be faring well as of late with their Solaris Guild. It wasn’t surprising though, considering they were sharing similar bases with Super Guilds.

The fact that they were still alive and stabilizing was a shocker.

As for why Veronica agreed to work with them despite knowing they were contending against a Super Guild. The answer was actually quite simple.

Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".

The Super Guild was called Lethal Corp.

Yup, for some reason, Lethal Corp had decided to migrate from their initial base after the crushing defeat against the Vanguard Guild. And the new base happened to be where the Solaris Guild was operating.

Although Vanguard Guild and Lethal Corp no longer had any fight in the open, everyone knew the two relationships were very sour. Since that was the case, it was only obvious Veronica would extend a hand to improve Solaris Guild to have them contend with the Lethal Corp.

Such a tactic was usually called borrowing a knife from another to kill!

“Greetings everyone.” Xu Feng kept his thoughts to himself as he greeted the rest. “I was held up by something, so I had my Guild Captain handle everything. I’m sure she is very capable, right?”

“Guild Leader Lin Feng surely knows how to jest.” Gentle Wind was the first to respond as she glanced at Veronica.

“If it weren’t for the fact that she’s loyal to your guild, I would have wanted to recruit her to mine.” She said, her eyes laced with greed. It sounded half joking and half serious, but Gentle Wind would definitely want a talented individual like Veronica into her guild.

Xu Feng simply smiled upon hearing that. After all, he was confident that Gentle Wind would never succeed.

Veronica also didn’t bother to comment on it.

Once everyone took their seats, Xu Feng declared. “I only came to announce that Garak Forest will continue to be managed by Vortex Viper. I showed up here to not just reveal my presence, but to address my recent disappearance.”

A look of astonishment appeared in everyone’s eyes. Even OneManMedia, Veronica, and Carmen were baffled by the situation.

‘So the Guild Leader does have another plan.’ Carmen pursed her lips and just knew there was no way Xu Feng would do something pointless.

‘Could it be the town’s news?’ Veronica was more insightful. She suspected that Xu Feng was going to announce the town’s opening.

Sure enough, Xu Feng proved her speculation right when he revealed, “The town that almost everyone is curious about. I’m planning on opening it to certain people in advance for 3 days before the official release.”
