Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer - Chapter 952
Chapter 952: 6 Left
Once it was decided to eliminate the group of players in the desert region, Xu Feng and Carmen began to inspect their map.
“Hmm, they’re wearing Stealth Cloaks, so we can assume they’re not part of the external force players.” Xu Feng deduced. Not every external force player, such as them, was wealthy and resourceful enough to get their hands on Stealth Cloaks.
After all, the Stealth Cloak was a piece of equipment as well. Its durability was even worse than every piece of equipment. Thus, maintenance was very costly, especially when it would decrease even if not worn.
Moreover, Stealth Cloaks were very scarce and only available in limited selling channels.
Hence, one could already determine the difference between those who could afford one and those who couldn’t afford one. It was the equivalent of trying to own a supercar but not having enough funds to actually supply its fuel.
To summarize, Xu Feng and Carmen needed to heighten their senses and be alert when dealing with these rich elite players.
“Guild Leader, I can summon my voidlings to scout, but it has limited range,” Carmen said, and explained the scope function.
“Not bad,” he nodded. “You can send them in to scout. The enemies won’t expect them to be summoned creatures because of your voidlings’ appearance.”
Carmen’s voidlings were truly one-of-a-kind. It was a far cry from the typical Summoner’s summoned creatures.
So unless one physically witnessed Carmen summoning them in front of them, more often or not, players might be mistaken as monsters in the wilderness.
This was especially true when everyone was sent into this vast field without any knowledge of the geography or terrain.
However, one thing was for sure. The surviving players must have already encountered some monsters along the way.
With that in mind, these players tend to act smart and pinpoint unknown monsters as creatures in the field.
“Alright, let’s trace the steps from where you last saw them and begin from there.” Xu Feng said.
“Yes, Guild Leader.” Carmen nodded and guided him to the area. Naturally, this was done using the map’s coordinates. She had the area saved on her coordinate just in case she needed it.
Luckily, it was a great choice and it became useful. After all, there was nothing but sand and more sand in the area. Without any markings or a map, it was hard to determine where they were.
Sometime later, the voidlings got to work and began to scatter across.
There were no footsteps that could be traced, given the sand imprint had long been removed after a long time. Only newer footsteps would be clear, just like how the two of them were leaving their footprint behind as they advanced.
While they were chasing after a group of players, the player count in the sky suddenly decreased by 2, bringing it to 57.
…
In the river region, a group of players was clashing fiercely.
“Die, people of Midnight Guild!” A level 41 Swordsman shouted in fury.
“Die? You’re quite hilarious.” Midnight Crane mused coldly upon seeing the Swordsman charging at him with killing intent.
“We never planned on inviting people like you, but because the news was leaked, we had no choice but to comply. Once we reap the reward of the trial, would there even be a need for us to be wary of you anymore?”
“There’s no need to explain things to them, Midnight Crane. We should just kill them swiftly.” Skylar from the Twilight Guild rolled her eyes and warned him of the time constraint.
“Agreed. Too many of our players were scattered, and I’m afraid some of the external force players had gotten to them.” Bloom from Mistwalkers nodded her head in agreement with Skylar’s words.
There was no need to waste their time conversing with people who were bound to be eliminated.
Facing the two women’s comments, Midnight Crane retracted his coldness as he addressed them. “Sure, I just wanted him to learn a lesson to never pressure our Super Guilds. If it weren’t for the damn Siege of the Colossus, our Super Guilds wouldn’t have needed to rely on these kinds of trash to be cannon fodder.”
This was a main sore point for all the Super Guilds. Initially, they could have outright ignored these external force players who hailed from first-rate guilds or were quite famous in their field.
After all, the trial was a big piece of pie, and everybody wanted more shares for themselves.

Alas, the Divine World’s major event took them by surprise. Since it had been so long since anything happened after the major update, many of them forgot about it and simply developed their teams.
Who could have imagined multiple powerful Colossuses would arrive in their Northern Plane from thin air?
What made it worse was that they were extremely difficult to kill and had conquered numerous cities.
The losses that their Super Guilds received were enough to cause any ordinary first-rate guild to go bankrupt. All the sweat and tears used to build their city were gone in a puff.
To make things worse, those fallen players in the city turned to Bounty Players and began wreaking havoc to get revenge for the Super Guilds’ oppression.
All these factors added together resulted in today’s chaotic mess. If it weren’t for the external factor, players taking advantage of the scene, then they would have never gotten a chance to enter the trial, much less target them in hopes of monopolizing the trial’s reward.
A few minutes later, the level 41 Swordsman was killed, and the player count dropped to 56.
“Just 6 more players left.” Midnight Crane narrowed his eyes.
“I wondered what’s going on with Cyclone, Malefic Order, and Driftcore side.” Skylar suddenly raised the question. “Hopefully, the two of them will team up and eliminate Cyclone’s side.”
“I doubt the Cyclone would fall that easily. They have too many branches, and each one has its own strength. I only want the Floral Branch to collapse.” Bloom snickered coldly.
Toward that remark, both Midnight Crane and Skylar agreed with her. They wanted the Floral Branch, or more specifically, the two external force players they invited to fall.
