Chapter 116: A New Entertainment

Emma moved leisurely in the room. She walked toward Nora’s wardrobe but was surprised to see that it was locked. Her face twisted and then she found neatly ironed clothes on the table. She pushed the table hard with her kick.. The clothes fell on the ground.

She turned to look and Nora was still reading the book as if she had noticed it. But it only made her grin wider. She went to the bookshelf and pulled it toward her. The books fell on the ground at once creating noise but Nora still did not look at Emma.

Emma only felt a strange excitement twisting her stomach. She wanted to see how calm Nora could stay as she destroyed everything in the room. But what next? The room did not look like it belonged to a rich girl. There was hardly anything precious worth destroying or any decoration she could ruin. There was not a single photograph of Nora with her family. As if she never existed here. Emma let out a frustrated breath as she found nothing.

Then she noticed a small doll hanging on the window. She walked toward it, ready to throw it out of the window. But before she could touch it, a hand held her wrist shocking her.

“You!” When did she move? She had just looked at Nora from the corner of her eyes and Nora was still sitting on the bed reading. She looked so immersed in her book that even an earthquake would not distract her.

“I can see you ruin everything except this doll. Choose another target.” The voice was so cold that Emma flinched. She looked at Nora aghast. The girl looked so cold and her eyes were filled with killing intent that even Emma felt intimidated.

“We are not enemies yet and I do not want to add a stranger into the list. I hope you will understand.” she yanked Emma away. The girl stumbled two steps away. A look of disbelief on her face.

“How.. How is that possible!” but Nora did not pay any attention to her. She gave one look to the doll and then returned to her desk and started studying again as if that encounter was Emma’s delusion.

Emma’s eyes narrowed and a strange glint passed through them. Her lips twisted as she walked out of the room and took out her mobile.

“I have found her. I am already in her room. But it will be hard for me to refund her. Come yourself to do that.” I am going to be busy playing with her first!

She noticed Megan looking at her with a guarded look. She smiled at the vain woman giving her a fright.

“Ha! Hahaha! This school is finally going to be interesting.”

A thick bundle of notes were waiting for Penny when she reached her room. Kate was sitting on the other side and talking to someone in whispers. Penny raised a brow but did not probe. She went to check the notes first.

She opened it to see that the notes were divided subject wise and each notebook had several points underlined. Just with a glance she knew all those were important points that were taken from the previous chapters since she had already studied two last exams. But it had taken her two months to complete them. Now that she had underlined notes and important questions marked, it was so easy to study. Just then her phone rang.

“Did you get my surprise!” Penny was stunned. She had only called her mother half an hour ago. But she had already arranged notes for her.

“The notes!” a bell -like ringing laughter filled her ears.

“This is nothing, Honey! I will make sure that you will rank first in the next exam. And that Victor would only have eyes for you.” Penny beamed. Her anger for her mother before faded instantly.

“Thank you! Mom.” her mother laughed again and cut the call. Penny sat on the bed with joy and started studying the notes. Whoever had made them, he was very efficient. He had written everything precisely yet with all the important points covered. She immersed herself in her studies and only let go when she had solved three sets of english.

“Wow! You really are devoted.” Kate clapped when Penny finally let go of the notes. Her eyes looked weary.

“Here, I have brought some porridge for you.” Penny scowled at the porridge.

“After working hard for so long, I want to have something delicious. Let go and eat you.” She held surprised Kate’s hand.

“But how could we go out!” they were not allowed to. But when she noticed Penny’s glittering eyes, she sighed. Soon they disappeared from the hostel.

“Are you sure we should be here?” Kate looked around. This club looked for elders. The girls were barely clad in clothes and dancing too close to her comfort. In Asia, these kinds of places were banned for underage girls so it was her first time to be here. But Penny looked at ease as if she had come here often.

She wrapped her arms around Kate’s shoulders.

“Why? This is our age to have fun. If we do not enjoy it now. When are we going to enjoy it?” she smiled sweetly. “I will introduce you to my friends here. So that you can come here whenever you want. Kate, you are a girl far away from your house. If you would not enjoy it now. When will you get the chance to enjoy your life?” She smiled at Kate and started pulling her toward the corner table.

Two boys and one girl were sitting there already and drinking. Penny pulled Kate to a seat and sat behind her.

“Kate, I work hard for exams and for my future. But if I do not enjoy and release the steam, then I will feel burdened. You should not be so stiff!” Kate nodded. Though she was still not sure. But the music and ambience made her curious.

“I guess there is nothing wrong with exploring new things.”
