Nora quirked a brow at that. Did she accept any bet!

But the boy felt humiliated after being pointed at. He had only insulted Nora because everyone knows Nora never erply back no matter how much she had been insulted.

As long as you would not go and hurt her physically or challenge her, she would not mind whatever you are doing. He had seen many insulting the girl. And he wanted to insult a topper too.

Nora had it all easy. She was from a rich family and had good brains. Everyone can see how she was hardly reading a page for five minutes yet she was able to rank first in the school. Who would believe it? It must be a trick. Either she had papers with her or she had cheated while writing exams.

“What happened? Are you scared now?”

But now he could not back away that a beautiful girl like Emma was challenging him.

“I do not mind since I know she is fooling everyone.” Emma laughed. A bell rang in his heart. Sweet tickles that made him grin. Who would have thought that he was lucky to get her attention.

“Great!” Emma clapped with a laugh on her face. “Then we will test it. Give her anything to read for only two minutes and then Ask any question from that paragraph and Nora would reply. If she gave the correct answer then she won, if not, then you won.” the boy nodded. He already started flipping the pages to find something difficult.

“Did I accept it?” Nora raised a brow, amused at how Emma was using her to teach them a lesson. The boy did not know that he had got the attention of a devil.

“Play with me and I will reward you later.” Emma winked at Nora, making the latter sigh.

“I do not need any reward.” Nora shook her head though she felt unsettled by the look in Emma’s eyes. As if the girl knew her secret. But which one and how? Nora had never left any trace that she was doing this to herself or she was fooling a penny!

“Trust me..” Emma leaned closer. “You need this one. If not, I will bear a punishment.” the girl licked her lips like a cat who had found a new toy to play with.

“Is she refusing now?” The boy walked closer with the book in his hands. He was sure Nora was only posing earlier.

“Nah, she is only asking for a reward for the game and I told her that you will add your wallet to the table.” the boy paused. He was not sure anymore,

“We have not agreed on this!” he hesitated but Emma only wrapped her arm around his.

“Oh come on. No one could read this fast. Even teachers take time to read a paragraph. Do you think she could be faster than teachers?” Emma snorted. “You put 1000 dollars on the table and if you won Nora would pay you the same amount. If she could not, then will since I am the one challenging you.” and to prove it. She already took out her money. His eyes widened when he started her hands going inside her top and notes coming out of it. The notes were still warm from her body heat.

He gulped. His eyes narrowed at her top.

“I..”

“You do not want to..” she extended the notes toward him and he swore he could feel her fragrance on them.

“I.. of course I want to.” there was no way that he would lose. He was not from a rich family that was why he had worked hard and spent most of his time in the library. That was why he was irked earlier when he noticed Nora posing as a model student.

1000 dollars may not be a big amount for those rich brats but it was his monthly allowance. If he lost it, he would starve to death. But there was no way he would lose right? He looked at Nora but the girl was just playing with her phone with no expression on her face.

But if he won the bet, he would have double the amount. Then he could go and have fun like other boys in his class.

“Yes, I know that you would not refuse easy money.” the girl smiled seductively at him and he nodded again. This time with more confidence.

“Alright!” He took out his wallet and placed a thousand dollars on the table. Surprisingly it was all he had. Not a penny less, not a penny more in his wallet.

His heart bled as he emptied his pockets.

“Alright, I want you to study this.” the boy grinned. The book was for university entrance. It contained many questions from the college syllabus. There was no way that Nora had read it before.

This book did not belong to the library. He had brought it for his preparation since he was not selected in the top ten. Now he would show everyone that this first rank of the pretest was not as good as they believe.

“What happened? You do not want to?” He teased her when she started at the book. Even Emma frowned and did not look so sure anymore.

“This book is not from the library.” Emma pointed but the boy only grinned.

“In or not?” he challenged looking at Nora. Nora rolled her eyes and opened the book.

“Which page?” she asked with a bored look on her face. The boy’s eyes went dark. But he believed that she was only posing.

Intentionally, he opened a difficult physics theorem for him. Since he had heard that she was preparing for a business and management course. There was no way that she knew physics.

“This one! I want you to read this theorem in two minutes and then explain it to me.” he sat opposite her with a smirk on his face and started the timer in his mobile.

Emma frowned. She knew the trick and regretted not deciding the book earlier but when she looked at the calm face of Nora, her heart raced. Could she really learn a physics theorem in just two minutes?
