Chapter 146: Jealous Of Her Sister

Nora stopped to take a bath in the locker room. After practicing for so long, her body was wet and her face was red. She threw her clothes on the ground and took a long path. When she came out wrapping a towel around her body, her clothes were gone and the main room of the locker room was locked.

Her eyes narrowed. She took out a small pin of her hair and walked slowly. Her grip tightening on the pin when the steps stopped behind her.

“Why did you do this?” Nora let go of the breath she was holding and glared at Emma.

“You were going to attack me with a pin while you were naked!” Emma looked amused. “I didn’t mean to scare you. And I have not taken your clothes.” Nora rolled her eyes.

She took out a new dress from her locker and wore it.

“You came here especially to ask you why I let Penny go so easily yesterday?” Nora queried a brow, “I never knew that you were so interested in our affairs.”

“Spit it out. I have taken a risk in coming here after your dear sister asked her friends to steal your clothes.” Emma walked closer and stood beside Nora. She opened her bag and took out a set of undergarments and passed it to nora.

Nora chuckled but took it happily.

“Do you think the result could have been different if I had taken different actions?” Emma stopped, her frown disappearing in an instant.

“That…”

“Penny had power. Even if they would confirm that Penny had plotted against me, they would not care. But if a seed had been bowed that penny was fooling them…’ she did not continue but Emma understood.

She was not proving that she was right and Penny had tried to hurt her. But she was proving that Penny had lied to all of them.

“If I rush it, it will lose its value. But if they come to this conclusion themselves..” Emma sighed. She had to learn from Nora how to trick others.

“It looks like I still need to learn a lot of things.” Emma sighed. “So, what am I to do next?”

Nora raised a brow and looked at Emma. Emma’s cheeks flushed. She glared at Nora. “Why are you staring at me?”

“Nothing. I do not need your further help. I already owe you once. I can not owe you so many times. It will be hard for me to pay.” Emma’s eyes dimmed. Of course, she could not help Nora for free.

She had her own rules. But.. Nora adjusted her locker and left the room. The moment she closed the door, she sighed.

“The list of persons i am using for taking my revenge keeps on increasing!” she had told herself before that it didn’t matter as long as she was not hurting them. But this lie did not let her breathe anymore.

She knew that Emma had a weakness. She enjoys creating troubles and she enjoys these tricks. She had intentionally taken Emma into her plan to win her favor.

“Wait!” Nora was tying her shoe laces. Emma hesitated only for a second before asking..

“How about we make a transaction?”

“And that is how the economic condition of our country improved.” Miss Shelly stared at the students and sighed. “Only a week is left for the terminal exam. Yet you have wasted your weekend!” Penny stiffened at her words. The teacher stared at her for a second before looking away.

“Your first exam is economics. Solve all the test series by tomorrow and then we will repeat all the concepts again. Those who fail in my exam will suffer severe punishment.” she glared at all of them before leaving the class.

Before another teacher came, many students stood up and surrounded Penny’s seat. Their expressions did not look friendly but they did not harass her either.

“Penny, we need the rest of the notes.” Mike, one of Alex’s friends, demanded in a cold tone.

Penny narrowed her eyes. He was not even there last night. What right did he have to order her? Others noticed her ugly look and sighed.

“Mike, take it easy.” a girl whispered, then she smiled at penny. “Penny, would it be possible if you could give us notes now. We do not need an explanation. We will study them ourselves.” Mike frowned when he heard her pleading.

“Christ! She had promised her notes and I am only asking because she had wasted so much of your time. Do you need to beg her for things she owes you?” he yanked the girl behind him and glared at penny.

“Look penny, I do not care what rift you have with your sister and what video you had in your mobile about ruining her. All I want are the notes which you promised. Or your words hold no value.” Many felt uneasy at the confrontation and wanted to stop Mike.

But at the same time, they wanted notes. Penny was fuming in her heart.

“Those notes are mine. I offered help. Yet somehow you sound like I owe them to you. When you were not even there last night.” she hissed. But when she looked at others, her face was much calmer and gentler, “beside, I have never refused to share. Do you need to be so rude to me? The one who is helping you without anything in return.”

“Ha! Aren’t we playing your allies and hurting your sister for your little help when you did not even make those notes yourself. You have taken them from tutors. I do not understand why others could not take it too. You know what, keep your notes to yourself. I will go and ask Nora. a topper’s notes would be much better than ninth ranker.” Before the girl could refuse, Mike held his girlfriend’s wrist and pulled her away.

“But..”

“No but! How could I trust a liar like her in the first place? What if those so-called notes were not even important?”
