Chapter 159: A Live Show

“I have only come to tell you that I do not believe your words. Stop spouting nonsense and malign others’ names. You have enmity with your sister. But do not include Jamie in it.” she spat in a cold voice. Her actions had gained a few looks from the other people.

Lucy flushed as she noticed frowning gazes on her. It was her biggest weakness that she could not hold her temper. But it was because she did not like playing tricks. Speak whatever she believes and never hide anything in her heart.

While Lucy felt embarrassed, Nora only smiled with ease.

She patted the seat as if she was dealing with a cranky child. Lucy narrowed her eyes. Rage filled them, but she sat there.

“I did not sit because you asked me to. I care about rules.” she mumbled with a frown and galred at Nora.

“Alright. So, you want this or not?” Nora took out an envelope from her bag. “Or I can also show you a live show!”

“A live show?” Lucy repeated the words with a frown but Nora only nodded with a smile. Her smile was dazzling today. But Lucy only felt irked.

“Explain! What is it that you are planning?” Lucy grabbed Nora’s hands in a tight grip. “If you hurt Jamie in any way, you would regret it.” her eyes glowed with threat. Only a fool would ignore her words.

Nora looked at her wrist Lucy was holding and then at Lucy’s cold face. Her eyes flickered with a dangerous glint. But it was gone in a breath. She sighed.

“If you are so sure that Jamie is not fooling around and Penny is your friend supporting you then why are you so angry? Could it be that you are hiding your fears behind your anger?” The words were spoken with such calmness that it stunned Lucy.

She was feeling restless from last night. So restless that finding Nora was only an excuse to curb that uneasiness in her heart.

But how did Nora know!

“You are playing with my mind.” she spat. There could be no other reason.

“Just follow me once and you will know. It will calm your mind if I am proven wrong. No?” Nora’s words did not hold any emotions but Lucy felt provocation in them.

She stared hard at Nora to intimidate her but the girl only smiled as if she could not feel a thing.

“So..?” Lucy closed her eyes.

“Alright. But I am only following you to prove you wrong. It does not mean that I doubt Jamie or Penny.” she hissed. Nora rolled her eyes.

“Anything that makes you feel better. I have things to do after this, so hurry.” Nora looked at her watch and then typed something on her phone.

Her phone beeped when they reached the door. She read the message with her eyes sparkling.

“What.. what happened?” Lucy felt her heart flipping. She did not like how Nora looked at her. As if she was a sheep going for slaughter. No one had ever made her feel like that.

“I have planned a candy for you. But your luck is great. You are going to get a whole large feast!” Lucy frowned as she noticed the vicious glimmer in Nora’s eyes. Was she really the timid Nora they knew? How could a person’s personality change so much?

Lucy felt her legs being frozen. She had an ominous feeling clawing in her heart.

Nora noticed it and sighed.

“If you keep dawdling, you will miss it. If you are scared, you can always refuse and leave.” The hint of impatience and pity made Lucy frown. She could not accept herself as a coward.

If worse comes to worse and Nora played any trick, she would beat the girl to the death. Despite feeling that it could be a trap, Lucy gritted her teeth and followed Nora.

Nora only smiled. Her actions were still vague. They walked through the corridor and went to the boy’s locker room.

“But there would be..” before Lucy could speak, Nora covered her mouth and glared at her. She signaled at the door and then at Nora with a silent expression.

Lucy slowly nodded and only then did Nora take her hand away. She slowly held the door and opened it making sure it did not create any sound.

There was no one inside. It had been more than an hour since the football match ended. Everyone must have left already.

“W..” Lucy shut her mouth earning another glare from Nora. She only wanted to tell Nora that everyone must have left already. But she could not accept that a weak and timid girl like Nora was intimidating her again and again.

Nora took off her shoes and walked bare feet toward the closed bathrooms. She checked the locked door with her lips curled. Taking out a pin from her hair, she opened the door with ease. Then she looked at Nora with a raised brow.

That was too dangerous. If a man was bathing inside, he could shout and they would be announced as pervert.

Worse, if he took their advantage. They could not even claim later. Since they were the one following him in the bathroom.

“Coward!” Nora lipsed without a noise. Lucy wanted to cough blood. Nora had gone insane. She was not going to follow her in hell even if she was called a coward.

She turned to leave with a snort.

“Oh! Do not be that rough, Jamie!” Lucy paused. Her body froze on the ground. Even if the voice was muffled, it belonged to a woman. And she called for Jamie. In the bathroom of a man;s locker. Blood started to drain from her face. When she turned, she still hoped that it was a misunderstanding. But when she noticed pity in Nora’s eyes. She knew it was not.
