Chapter 161: I Have A Plan

“Ahh! Oh! Yes. harder! Harder Penny. You’re so beautiful.” The sound of moaning and encouragement kept coming from Jamie’s mouth.

Lucy had covered her mouth from hand and biting her fingers hard to make sure that she did not shout hard.

Her hand on the door was so tight that her knuckles had turned white. Her cheating was painful, as if someone had kicked her on her chest. Her heart was paining and it felt too hard to stand there.

“We need to leave, then we can come out at any moment. Your Jamie would not last in her hands for more than ten minutes.” Lucy’s eyes widened. Nora spoke with such experience as if she had also.. Lucy shook her head.

She did not have time to guess how many girls had done that for Jamie. The moaning had reached its climax. It is as Nora said, Penny could come out any moment.

She followed Nora back to her room. But she could not sit still. She paced in the room from one end to the other end. Her eyes filled with tears looked more bloodshot.

“Why did you stop me?” anyone would feel intimidated the way her bloodshot eyes glared at Nora.

But Nora only sipped water from her glass with an indifferent look.

She passed another glass to Lucy. but Lucy did not take it. Her chest was burning with rage.

“What do you know? Though I have never confessed to Jamie. I have been following him for three years. My actions had cleared my intentions so many times. And Penny, I confessed to her my feelings a long time ago and asked for her help. She had given me so much advice and.. And.” she could not bear to speak further. But did Nora need words to understand Lucy’s condition?

“And like a fool you have believed in her every advice and kept yourself reserved. You wore clothes that did not suit you. You behave the way your presence was minimized and you do not create any threat for a penny. But even then she is not satisfied and seduces your boyfriend. Do you think Penny is a man like him?” Nora raised her brow, looking amused.

She left Lucy stunned.

“She did not like him?” That was the biggest joke she had heard. Yet, the way Nora said it, it felt true. And it left Lucy dumbfounded.

Nora shook her head with pity.

“Being a fool is the biggest sin.” Yet, she could not feel angry at Lucy. she had been a fool once too. Believing her love and devotion would change everyone. Believing her family loved her. Believing.. The glass in Nora’s hand broke.

A shard scratching her fair hand and blood started to leak. Water splashed all over her clothes. Lucy flinched but Nora was still sitting there coldly and staring at the distance as if she could not feel a thing.

“Nora!”

“Tsk! Do you still want me to explain? Don’t you remember the time when you joined the school? You have been so popular. But now, you are nothing but Penny’s shadow? How many of them still notice you?” Lucy blinked. She had thought Nora was lost in her thoughts. But she was only silent because she did not know how to explain it to Lucy!

And she was popular! She did remember people staring at her and whispering about her while looking at her strangely. How she wanted to get rid of those eyes. And after following Penny, she got rid of all thos eyes. All these years, she had thanked Penny for it.

Nora noticed the confusion on her face and sighed.

“People think you are average. Just a normal girl yet you are part of the cheerleading team. Not only that, their leader. You must have noticed their affectionate or lecherous gaze when you jump in that pretty short skirt of your. Do you not?” Lucy blinked again.

Even her anger faded in front of her confusion but she slowly nodded. She was often praised for looking beautiful in her cheerleading dress.

“So you mean Penny had..” Lucy was afraid of completing her sentence but Nora nodded confirming her doubts.

“Penny did not like when others got the due attention. She had been the belle of the school. Kindest, sweetest and most beautiful one. How could she let others outshine her?

She is jealous of you. She intentionally spilled that others speak ill about you when they were just mesmerized by your looks. And then she offered you friendship. Since you were new, you took her extended hands and slowly she started to corrode you.

Just look at your clothes. They are expensive, yes! But did the style suit you? I am sure my aunt had the same design clothes in her wardrobe. And your hairstyle. Why are you making a bun like an old woman?” Lucy unconsciously touched her hair.

“I.. I do not like my hair open. Or fancy designs. This one is comfortable.”

“Then get a haircut. Short hair that would not disturb you, yet suit your personality. And wear something better, comfortable but.. Hire a designer for yourself. I am sure you can afford that.” Lucy bit her lips when Nora waved at her as if she could not deal with someone this foolish.

“But Jamie..” she hesitated and Nora’s exhausted eyes went sharp instantly.

“He is a nice footballer. Talented in studies too with good luck but do you still want him? A boy who was ready to insult you and use you just to impress another girl?” she felt like she would explode just by thinking about it.

She had seen an opportunity in Lucy. had she been wrong all this time?

Lucy held her dress tightly, her body slowly quivering.

“No! I do not want him anymore. But.. I could not let him go without teaching him a lesson. I wanted to beat both of them then and there and shout hard enough to inform the world. But you stopped me. I am sure you have a plan. right?”
