Chapter 163: Makeover

“Who is she!”

“Oh my god! Is she Lucy?”

Penny frowned when she heard the noise in the class. But her eyes widened when she noticed a young girl with a strange asymmetrical bob cut. She was wearing pants instead of the regular skirt and tucked in shirt. It accentuated her thin waist and voluptuous chest. Her waistcoat was making her look so badass yet charming.

No one could take their eyes away from her. Was she the simple Lucy who wore baggy shirts and a loose long skirt to hide her body.

“Lucy! Coloring your hair is not allowed!” the teacher frowned looking at her red hair. It looked so damn sexy, yet so revolting.

“Yes, I know. That is why I have decided to let go of color.” she smiled awkwardly as she touched her hair. “My hairstylist washed my hair before cutting and I decided to follow the rules for once.”

“…..” the teacher was stunned and did not know how to reply. She had only seen Lucy in a dull black color. But her real hair color was this beautiful red color?

“You did a good job.” she nodded and pointed at her seat. Lucy nodded back with a rare smile. And the teacher looked stunned again. That smile! It was worth destroying the whole class. She was disturbed herself too.

Penny’s eyes went cold and her face looked so dark as if she had eaten something stale. She held her book so tightly that the pages started to tear apart.

But when Lucy turned to her and smiled, Penny patted the seat beside her with a loving smile on her face.

“Lucy!” she looked surprised, “you are looking stunning. Look, the whole class is just staring at you as if they could not get enough of you.” Penny exclaimed with a sweet but worried smile on her face. “I apologized. I forgot that you do not like so many gazes on you. Are you okay?” She covered Lucy;s hands with hers. Penny looked so worried that Lucy found herself staring at Penny for a long time. She only looked away when she heard the teacher coughing.

She smiled apologetically at the teacher and started studying. From the start to the end, she did not reply to Penny, making her infuriated.

But she could only smile and wait for the class to end.

“Lucy!”

“Penny, I have an urgent call to make. I will talk to you later.” Once class ended, Lucy stood up and left the class before Penny could ask her anything.

Penny gritted her teeth.

“Ha! This wench. She is doing it intentionally. But even I see, how long could she enjoy this attention.” Penny opened her account and typed a few messages.

Lucy ran out of the class, trying her best to hide her excitement. When she reached the hallways, she dialed a number and screamed.

“Oh my god! Did you notice that? They all looked lost. Hehe! I do not believe I was naive to believe that they disgust me.” her voice barely hid the excitement as she grinned.

“You will know the reply soon enough. Just ignore the penny for now. And wait till Jamie sees you like this! But you must remember..”

“Yes, yes! I know. I have everything planned. Do not worry.” Lucy spoke in a calmer voice as her excitement slowly faded.

She cut the call and smiled elegantly at the passing students. A few girls blinked while the boys smiled provocatively. A boy even winked at her while the other brushed his shoulders with her before leaving.

Lucy only returned to the class when the teacher came. Penny did not try to speak to her again. She was writing something on her notebook and appeared busy.

But inside, she was just waiting. If Lucy apologized, then she would forgive her. After all, they have been friends for a year now.

But Lucy did no such thing. Ever so lazy and hardly interested in her studies, Lucy opened her book and started writing the notes and important tips as the teacher revised the topic for exams.

She looked so serious that Penny did not know how to respond. She gritted her teeth and noted down points too. But not a single word entered her brain.

She looked at the blurry words of the book with her eyes burning with hatred.

“The selected ten students had been called in the staff room. Tomorrow is your first exam. We have decided to guide you personally for it. So do not leave the school after the classes end for today.” the teacher announced after finishing her lecture and left the class.

Recess started soon.

“Penny, i want to go to meet Jamie. You go ahead and have lunch with Kate. I will see you later.” Lucy smiled brightly and left in excitement.

“Wait! Lucy. I do not think that it is a… good idea!” she sighed. Before she could stop Lucy had already left the room.

Kate chuckled as she stood behind Penny where Lucy was standing earlier.

“I think she likes Jamie. These days, she only talks about him. Do you think she had changed herself because of him?” Penny felt her chest burning. “She was looking so stunning. Everyone was only staring at her in the class. I doubt anyone heard what the teacher was saying. I never knew Lucy had such a beautiful figure under those baggy clothes. I..”

“What do you know!” Penny threw the pen in her hand on the ground. It created a loud sound before its nib broke and ink leaked.

Kate flinched at those actions and stared at Penny in confusion.

“When she had joined the school, she had been molested because of her revealing clothes and provoking hair color. She had still not learnt her lesson and now acting like a fool. I am so worried about her. I should go and follow her.” Penny stood up. Mumbling something, she left her class leaving Kate frowning.

“But what does clothes and hair do with the mistakes of boys?!”

“..” Nora finally turned and looked at her confused girl with a sigh.
