Chapter 174: Ruined

“What do you think you are doing?” the man frowned, looking at Alex. he had taken enough drugs in the past one hour. The room was dim enough to blur his senses compl;etely. Not to forget the dim and hypnotic music in the background. The man should not be able to move an inch. But he was still standing and walking to the door? What kind of joke was this?

The man was flabbergasted and a sense of uneasiness filled him. Could it be possible that the drug was not enough? But he had already given double the dosage.

He stood behind Alex. four eyes looking at them from the dark. One signal from him, and they would attack Alex at once.

“My head is spinning. The dosage was too strong. Could it be that it also gives hallucinations? I felt that I heard Nora shouting.” the man gritted his teeth. It must be that girl!

He wanted to go and get rid of her. But he could not leave Alex alone. He had to make sure that he would stay here. As long as the drugs dissolve in his blood completely, he would be ruined for the future.

“There is no one here. Why would that pretty girl of yours come here?” he spoke in a soft and comforting voice. “Could it be that you are finally changing your status from single to taken? It will break many of my girl’s hearts.” as the words left his mouth. Three girls came forward.

Two stood on each side of Alex. They held his arms lovingly and rubbed their breasts on his arms. while one stood in front of her and wrapped her hands around his neck. She was pulling him for a kiss.

Alex pulled back but his body did not hold his normal strength. He swayed under their hold.

“Tsk! I am not a fool to fall in love and ruin my life. But I do not want to hire girls either. Scram!” the faces of the girls changed. Though they work in the club and often give services. They did not sell them for money.

He was comparing them with prostitutes which was a huge insult. They looked at the manager and he sighed but he signaled them to continue.

“Alex! Do not be that cold. We are friends. We have raced with you for a long time and we admire your talent. How about we spend some time together?” the girl in front of him spoke seductively. Her long nail ran on his bare neck.

The action would have invoked the desire of many. They all would have looked at her with hunger. But Alex only tried to get rid of her.

His eyes were open but his vision was not clear. He shook his head to clear it and looked around. But the girls were surrounding him and did not let him go.

“I need to go now.” he pushed the one away but the other two were still holding him tightly. Rubbing her breasts eagerly and kissing his arms and nape. A man with the camera taking pictures from different angles.

Alex was leaning on them for support. But in the picture, it looked like he was having fun. They were enjoying themselves together.

“Let me go. Will you?” he frowned and spat in a cold voice. The girls were stunned. He was drugged so badly. He should have succumbed already.

“Alex, you are drunk and you have taken a large dose. It would be better that you rest here for a few hours before leaving. If you do not like girls, I can arrange an empty room for you.” the manager looked at the camera man. When the man nodded, he signaled the girls.

The girls looked at Alex with disgust and let him go. Alex finally felt like he could breathe again.

He rubbed his forehead feeling dizzy.

“This dosage was really strong.” he sighed. He had come here and took the dosage to get rid of Nora’s thoughts.

But even in this condition, he could hear her voice. Not only just voice, he imagined that she was struggling and fighting. Her gasps, her screams and her threats.

But there was no reason for her to be here. Even if she had come to meet him, there was no way she would be attacked or injured here.

He rubbed his eyes to see clearer.

“Alright, give me a room. I need to rest, my head is spinning badly.” he cursed himself for coming here.

Why was he being so emotional? It was her wish. Whether she wanted to date someone or stay single all her life.

“Yes!” he nodded and helped Alex. he could hear the fight was coming to an end. He would go and teach that girl a lesson now.

But before they could walk the stairs, the door of their room opened with a kick. And it was not his men standing there. But a girl was bleeding and injured.

A table cover was wrapped around her waist. She scanned the room and her cold eyes stopped on Alex and the manager.

“What the hell did you do to him?” Alex stiffened at the voice. He froze at the pain in her voice.

“Alex, you foolish boy! What the hell did you do? Do you have any ideas? I am looking for you and they..”

“Alex, why did you stop?” the manager asked in a confused voice as if he could not see Nora standing there and then he laughed while he signaled his men. “Could it be that you are having hallucinations now?”

Alex frowned.

“This was so realistic. I am never taking this powder again.” he muttered as his head buzzed. He felt like he could see her figure. Though the face was not clear. Her presence was felt.

“Tch! Such a weakling. Come with me.” Nora frowned. She noticed how Alex’s eyes were blurry and he was swaying. Before she could shout and take a step further, two men held her again. The manager snorted and held Alex and walked away.
