Chapter 185: A Special Mark

“Miss Nora, as you have expected. We have received the license today and we can launch the product in two weeks.” Nora frowned when she heard them, making them confused.

The dull atmosphere of the hospital was already strange for a meeting. But looking at her pale face, they could only thicken their face and continue.

“It will be late. Our competitor would have launched its product before ours. Not only that, they would have secured the bidding of Runes group of companies.” the man exchanged glances. One of them collected his courage.

“Madam, we never had the funds to compete for Runes group of companies’ orders. It was a tender to export one milli bottles of juice. Even if we ask for a loan, we can not extend our production to that limit.” the man sighed looking dejected.

“And not only that, our company had received a good deal from a new company. We received an order for making twenty thousand bottles of juices.” the other man chimed in hurriedly. Nora paused and stared at him.

Thinking that she did not believe him, he hurriedly took out papers from their bags and passed them to her. Nora’s icy gaze swept on the paper.

“Felisha Ltd. Felisha! Felisha.. Hahahaha! We have struck gold.” Nora laughed heartily. But her laughter left goosebumps on their skin.

“Umm, madam! Though the contract is a good start, we will not earn much if we follow all their conditions. I was thinking of bargaining before. But if madam had another idea..” he hesitated. Why did the young and beautiful woman look so vicious in their eyes?

“Hmm, yes of course, go and bargain. In fact, you can take all the decisions related to the order by yourself. But I will check the production and packaging myself.” The words stunned her again. Though she had bought the shares of their company and had contacts. What did she even know about the manufacturing of beverages and their packaging?

“That, I do not think it is a good idea.” the man hesitated only for her to snort.

“And who are you to tell me that!” her eyes bore a hole on his face. His face started burning and he stuttered.

“I.. that..” he was no one. And the thought made him embarrassed. He was the one who had started this company. This company was his dream, his passion and his everything. But now, he did not have the power to protect it.

His hands clenched around the folder.

“Robin, I know that the company matters a lot to you. But I will not harm my assets too. It is time that we start trusting each other. I have taken the step by letting you strike the contract. Could you not show some trust in me?” the man blinked. He had not expected her to take a step back and give him face.

“I am sorry!” he whispered and she sighed.

“I said that I will handle it. But I never said that you can not observe me for surety.” his face finally changed and a relieved smile appeared on his lips.

“Thank you, thank you, madam.” he nodded hastily.

“In that case, how about you check the papers of our contract too.” he took out another file making Nora smile and nod.

When Victor entered her room, he noticed two young men in suits leaving the room. He frowned and walked inside hastily.

“Did your uncle create trouble for you?” Nora who had just stretched herself frowned. And then it struck her.

“Ah, no. They were friends from old times. They have heard about my accident. So they come to visit me.” she smiled but his frown only grew deeper.

They did not look like friends of a teenager.

“What did you bring today?” Victor shook his head and sat beside her.

“I have brought dumplings with sour dip. But except that.. I have brought this for you too.” he took out a folder and with a proud grin on his face, he placed it on her hands.

Nora looked at the papers with confusion when her eyes widened with disbelief.

“This!” she flipped the pages hurriedly when he adjusted his collar, waiting for her praise. “How did you do it?” her lips parted and then a laughter escaped her lips.

“I knew only you could do this. We can not change fate.” She had worked so hard on this file and made changes again and again. But her project still lacked many things.

But now that Victor had made changes, it looked just like the past. She had forgotten about these details and she did not know a few technical issues about them. Victor laughed and then wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer while sitting beside her.

“Read the papers carefully. If they are fine, send the details to the manager with your name.” Nora shook her head. She had taken the credit once already. But now..

“No, since you have done it, you should take the credit this time. Let’s make it a partnership project.” Victor was about to refuse. But hearing about the partnership, he nodded.

“Now we are partners in a project. In the future, we would be life partners. I like the tone of it.” he grinned again, making her sigh.

“Alright, since we are doing it in partnership, you should present it and bring me the result.” she pushed the file back to him. He raised a brow.

“Nora, are you trusting me with your dream project?” He was stunned. “I will not lie. This project had attracted me from the start. I was just worried that you would not like my interference.”

“No Victor, this project had a fate with you.” For some reason he felt, her eyes dimmed. But she kissed him on her cheeks.

“Then i will bring you your advance cheque soon, boss.” he gave her a dramatical salute but her eyes stilled.

“Victor! Can you give me all the advance as a loan?”
