Chapter 188: How Dare You!

Nora stood in front of the dorms. The guard did not let her go in when she showed her identity card.

“Miss Stone, the warden is coming soon. Please wait patiently.” he repeated when he noticed impatience on her face.

It had been half an hour already. Nora had thought that Miss Megan would come hurriedly when she heard about her. But she must have assumed wrong. The woman wanted to play further.

“Of course, I am not in a hurry at all. After all, you are doing your work and my actions might implicate you.” she smiled sweetly at him and started playing with her phone again.

“…” the man was stunned. Has anyone ever thought about him ever in his job? He looked at Nora again. He was told that she had run away with a man in the middle of the night. He had a bad impression of her. But now, he felt like rumors were false. Even if she had run away, it must be the boy who had fooled her.

He felt bad for her and decided to give her some advice.

“Young girls, if they ask you to kneel or beg, do not hesitate. After all, you have a vast future ahead. A brave person should have the heart to accept their mistake. They would forgive you if they felt you had repented for your mistake.”He spoke so seriously that Nora wanted to laugh. But she could feel his kindness in his words. So, she nodded seriously.

“Then..” before he could continue, Miss Megan came to the door. She did not stop the students from following her. Not only girls, but boys had come to follow her too.

In the past three days, she had been on pins and needles when she received the order from the Stone family. After all, Nora had failed her plans many times and she had already received a warning from the principal. But when she shouted curses for Nora in front of Victor and her other supporters, they did not react at all.

They will just clench their teeth or glare at her before leaving from there. That boosted her confidence. She must have nothing to save her this time. Megan wanted her revenge too. This girl was too arrogant. She must be taught a lesson. That was why she did not stop the students from following her.

She would make a lesson out of Nora today.

“Why are you here?” She folded her hands in front of her chest and tapped one foot impatiently on the ground as she looked at Nora icarly. “You have already been rusticated from the school and banned from the hostel.”

Her cold and haughty voice immediately started whispers. But Nora only titled her head lazily and placed her mobile in her pocket.

“That..”

“Ha! If you are here to pack your luggage then do not bother. I will send everything to your house.” by house she meant Stone’s manor. The girl could go there and beg for her things or live without them. It had nothing to do with Megan.

Megan turned to leave but her actions were slow. She wanted to see Nora begging her. Or crying to prove her innocence.

But Nora only laughed looking amused, making Megan angry and uneasy.

“Do you have any written papers that prove that I am rusticated? If not, scream! I am not here to hear your blabber.”

“…..” everyone was stunned! Has Nora lost her mind? She had always been timid. Recently, she had been a bit unbridled. But she had never dared to insult the teachers. What had happened?

The guard looked uneasy too. He signaled Nora to lower her voice and apologize but the foolish girl was not looking at him anymore.

“You! What did you say!” Megan lost her composure. In her long service, no one had ever insulted her. Even if she had been unreasonable, the girl had only bowed their head further and listened to her since she held the power to control their living in the dorms.

But Nora.. “How dare you!” her body trembled with rage, but Nora did not seem to notice it. She only tilted her head and stared at Megan coldly.

“Did your ears not work because of your age? I asked you to show me proofs supporting your nonsense of standing aside. I am exhausted after traveling and need to rest.” She took a step forward but was instantly blocked by Megan.

How could she let Nora walk inside after insulting her.

“You want proof, right?” Megan took out papers from her pocket and threw it on Nora. The papers were sealed and signed by her.

It had clearly written that Nora had disappeared without notice and it was suspected that she had run away with a man. So until the investigation is completed, she would not be allowed in the dorms and would be rusticated from the school too.

Nora’s dark eyes scanned the paper with a grim look. While Megan smirked. Her anger finally fading.

“Did you see that? Before I was thinking of forgiving you, but now that you have insulted me, you should forget about entering the dorms. I will throw your things outside. Wait here if you want to receive them. Now do not waste my time. Only if you have apologized!” Megan shook her head with a disappointed look on her face. As if an elder is feeling bad for a child.

She was slow again, deliberately giving Nora a chance to beg. It would not change anything. But she wanted to give hope to Nora. to see her kneeling and begging. But she was stunned again.

Nora did not insult her like before. After reading the letter, she nodded calmly and left the entrance. Rumors erupted. The whole batch of students were talking openly about Nora now.

But Megan did not hear a word. Her heart stilled and sweat covered her forehead. Others might think that Nora had lost.. But she knew that it looked good.

It was the look of Victory in Nora’s eyes!
