“Though we are the best school in our state. There are schools better than ours. You should be mindful of when you speak to others and do not behave wilfully as you are in our school.” The teacher specially looked at Nora and Penny. “Personal differences could be kept for personal places. In public, we should look harmonious and kind.” The car had stopped two minutes ago but the teacher did not open the door.

She glared at both of them, feeling a headache.

“If I hear a single complaint from any of you, I will send you back without caring if our school could win or not. Our image is much more important than your success. Did you get it?” even newspapers were aware of my sister’s rift now. How could she not know?

“Alisha, you will report me as soon as something happens.” her only hope lies in that girl now. Only when they nodded did she pat her chest and take a breath.

The door opened and they all entered a large hall. A large crowd gathered in the auditorium. There were names of the cities mentioned on the seats.

Mr Summer ground there for them. Near them, other seven students selected from their province were sitting. They smiled or nodded at each other.

A woman cleared her voice in the mike. The voice echoed in the whole auditorium.

“We have come so far to represent our school, our city and now we have a chance to represent our country. It is our honor to train you for that chance and select the best students.” The woman smiled brightly but her sharp gaze was intimidating.

“There will be five exams in the next five days and a merit list will be prepared on the sixth day. The exams will not only test your knowledge and understanding. But it will test your patience, endurance and your character. So I wish you luck. A coordinator will help you in finding your rooms and support you if you need any help.

Work hard and good luck.” she smiled and her short speech ended just like that.

After that, a man announced the name of the city and a coordinator name. The teams were made the auditorium cleared just like that.

“That was too short!” Alisha laughed. “I think only our principal likes to speak so much.” but she earned a glare from the teacher and bowed her head instantly.

“Nora, Penny and Alisha behave when you share a room with other girls.” The teacher looked exasperated as she watched the name of the students.

She was hoping the three of them would share a room. But it was good too. Now they could not fight each other.

“Study hard and rest well. If you need anything, call me.” the teacher sighed as she left with a gloomy face.

Penny took out a small perfume bottle from her bag and passed it to the girl. “Hello, this is a small welcome gift I have prepared for you. I hope we will get along well.” The girl’s face bloomed instantly while the other two girls looked at her with jealousy.

They instantly regretted that they were not paired with Penny. Nora rolled her eyes and closed her door. She took out her books and started studying. Though she had studied hard in her past life, she had never reached this level. Now that she had, she was not going to waste her time.

Her eyes sparkled and she worked hard. When the other girl entered the room, she was stunned to see that Nora was not resting. But I have already solved many numericals and am now reading the formulas. But how could a person do so much in such a short amount of time?

The night was gone just like that. While every student was gathered in the hall to get to know each other. Nora did not leave her room at all.

Tensions were evident on their faces. They all stared at the watch while holding their pens tightly in their hands while the stern teacher held the exam papers.

“Ring!” rustling of papers could be heard as the teacher distributed the sheets.

Students flipped the pages and realized it was more difficult than they had expected. They started writing the answers and solving the numericals when the teacher stood at the podium.

They only blinked when the teacher clapped and smiled.
