“I will think about it.” Though tempted, Jamie could see that Mrs Sophia would offer more if he hesitated. The woman gritted her teeth, noticing the greed in his eyes.

“Ha! You, young man! I will send you to the police bureau if my daughter suffers because of you. Do not reject kindness only to receive a slap.” She warned him but he only smiled and did not react.

“I will call your father, Jamie. Think about it. She would complain and I would support them. You are bound to suffer.” Jamie took a deep breath and nodded.

“Fine! But I want at least ten percent credit and I will not do the due projects too.” he bargained looking straight into her eyes. Her eyes narrowed, her face went ugly but she only held the chair tightly.

She did not dare to take risks when her daughter’s future was on the line. She nodded softly.

“Fine! I will do that. Now return to your class and spread the story. If you did not handle the matter well, you would suffer with the hands of all the teachers.” the boy only smirked as he nodded.

With a thrilled look on his face, he left the office.

Mr Kai looked at Mrs Sophia Stone patiently. The woman uttered something under her breath before taking out papers. Her eyes narrowed with venom in them,

“Good! You are a great motivation for your students. No wonder that the student asks for a bribe to do what is right.” She waited for him to feel insulted but the man only smiled and did not reply.

But the mocking silence on his face was like a cold slap on her face. Gritting her teeth, she slammed papers on the table.

Mr Kai picked them up. Stars shone in his eyes as he read them but her face kept getting earlier.

“Two percent share of this school!! I have paid a high amount to you, Mr Kai. If the task is not handled well, I will sue you and make sure the world knows how you blackmail me using my daughter.” Her twisted words prove that he had blackmailed her to do so by planning the accident from the start.

“You think way too much, Mrs Stone. Do not worry, no one in the school would talk about it.” Sophia nodded. That was her personal investment and it was gone just like that. Her heart felt heavier.

But it was nothing in front of her dauggher’s image.

“And I will check the phone and other gadgets of every student personally to make sure there are no copies left. You can send that hacker with me to confirm it since I am not that technology efficient.” as Mr Kai flipped the page and read the whole document, his face started to glow.

The bright smile on his face was so irritated that Sophia wanted to slap him hard. She held the corner of the table tightly.

“Anything else I need to take care of?” he asked with that grin when she stood up.

“Let’s start with this first!” came the voice that’s hardly suppressing anger. She wanted to shout at him and accused him for that smiling face but he had not said a word and she needed him.

Clicking her heels on the floor, Sophia left the room. She had never felt this insult all her life. It was hard to keep her head straight. But she had seen that video. Her daughter’s future would be ruined if it leaked further.

Taking a breath, she called her daughter, “Penny, I have applied for three days of sick leave. You do not need to return to the school. Come home directly, darling.” her heart broke when her daughter started crying badly on the other side.

“Hey, it is alright, darling. Mommy had planned everything. When you return to school, everything will be normal.” her voice was so soothing, so calm and sweet. It sounded so different from the time when she talked to Nora.

After calming down her daughter, she called the hacker again and asked him to come to the school instantly.

She did not leave until the principal walked to her daughter’s class with the hacker behind him.

She did not follow them despite her worries. But the hacker had installed a camera in his shirt with a voice recorder. She sat in the principal’s office and watched the scene while holding her breath.

“Tell me!” the principal demanded in an intimidating voice. “Who is in the video and why did you leak it?”

“Of course it is me and Penny. Anyone can…” a sharp slap responded in the room before Jamie could complete his sentence. His eyes widened and he shivered with a hint of fear and guilt.

“Jamie Kerpin, if you would not speak the truth, i have to call the police bureau. They would handle the matter then. This is my last chance for you. Tell me who is in the video and why did you spread it?” His intimidating eyes scared everyone.

They have never seen their principal so angry before. But the video. Wasn’t Jamie telling the truth? It was him and penny?!

“Ha! It was me. I made it so that I can teach her a lesson. She was trying to break my relationship with Lucy by claiming that I am not a faithful person. And I have lusted after her body for a long time. So when I found a girl looking like her in the bar, I paid him to make that video. She was more than happy after getting the money.

But I have only shown the video to a few friends to boost. I do not know how it is spread.” he gritted his teeth as he confessed. There was no hint of regret or guilt in his eyes.

He only looked upset because his plan failed. Gasps filled the room. They all looked shocked.

“Do you know the punishment of using someone’s name?” Principal Kai demanded in a cold voice but Jamie only gritted his teeth.

“I never said it was Penny before. They all assumed that it was her.”
