“Nora, do not feel burdened that none of your classmates or teacher had accompanied you. Mr Summer wanted to come, so his ticket was booked. But as you know, he had to leave. A small bus had come to collect them. There were four other teams from other countries in the bus. They smiled at each other and exchanged names.

Alric and Amyra were not in the bus.

“Do you think they are a couple? I noticed how she was looking at Mr Spencer with longing eyes.” Jennifer giggled as she sat beside Mark.

Kane looked around. There were only two empty seats. One was beside Nora and the other was beside a hostile girl from another country. She was glaring at Kane when she noticed he was planning to sit beside her.

Pausing, he sat beside Nora but he regretted it instantly when she did not have a reaction.

“You know, my notes were prepared by the best teachers of our country. As an apology, we can study together or I can give you a copy of my notes. If you read them, you will…”

“I do not need them.” the cold reply paused him. He stared at her in confusion.

“Are you still angry! Penny is.. I did not know that she was lying. But you should be adjusting too. After all, her family had helped you for a long time. If not for her, would you have survived in this world?” The words might sound harsh, but they were true.

But instead of feeling embarrassed, Nora smiled.

“You speak as if you knew me for a lifetime. And why are you so interested in my matters anyway? Even if you are pursuing Penny, you should follow her. Go and call her.” Her day was bad.
