Chapter 251: She Is In Danger

Nora sighed and walked out of the room, but it was so late that she did not encounter any students or teachers in the lobby. Just when she was hesitating to call for Xia Yu again, she noticed a female staff member walking away with the laundry.

“Umm, do you know the nearest place where I could buy tampons or pads?”

“Aah, there is a supermarket just a lane away. If you take a left from the exit, you will find one at the corner of the street.” Nodding, Nora left for the market. But as she had brought everything and came out of the building, she felt someone was following her.

She felt as if the hair on her back bristled against the night wind. It was the sign of danger. A voice was yelling incessantly in the bottom of her heart, telling her to run away. There was a fatal danger.

“One more step and I will stab you with my knife. The street is dark, I will run away before anyone can find out why you fell suddenly.” Nora paused. Her eyes scanned the surroundings. She can get rid of this man easily. but there were four more around her, looking at her like a rabbit caught in the trap. When she moved, she noticed the gun in front of her.

“I do not have money. Neither do I have a connection. I am a poor student living on my scholarships.” she explained, “you can take everything i have as long as you let me go.” Nora looked around. Her hand inside her pocket shivered. It looked like she was looking for a chance to shout.

The man chuckled and moved closer, “good acting Missy. But we are not fools.” The man covered her mouth with his hand and pulled her inside a shop.

Nora knew he was a professional and would not fall for such a plan. Shouting was just an act to get time. She had already called the last person on her phone. It was director Reid.

She could only hope that he had picked up the call. The shop owner was either prepared for her arrival or it was a normal thing here. He only spared Nora a glance before working on his paper again.

“What do you want from me? Why have you kidnapped me? Look, I am the guest in the hotel just around the corner. I am part of a prestigious competition. I am only here to buy some products. I do not have any money. Or someone had asked you to kidnap me? If that is the case, you would be in big trouble. This ship is so close to the hotel. People would come looking for me if I do not return, you would be caught then.” Nora shouted at the top of her lungs as she pointed her finger at them.

She wanted to look like an arrogant girl who believed that the world revolved around her family. But in reality, she was trying to leave as many clues for director Reid. Though he was a foreigner too, he must have connections due to his high post.

“And what kind of shop is this? It is near such a big supermarket, yet it is so dark and smelly. What do they even sell here? Or is it your hub? Look, I am telling you. They will.. Mmmmppph” her eyes widened and she struggled when someone put a cotton handkerchief in her mouth to stop her from shouting further.

Nora struggled hard. But in reality, she was trying to look for more clues. It would be better if she could speak further alas!

“Check her belongings. If she had anything expensive, give it to the shop owner. We do not need anything as long as she is with us. When will the car arrive?” The man looked at her impatiently.

He had thought this girl would be different since they were given so many instructions. But there was nothing new here. Same old threats, same old bribes? Same old arrogance as if the world belongs to these foolish kids!

The man took out a cigarette from his pocket and took a long whiff. His eyes looked at the distance with impatience filling them.

A man walked closer. Nora had cut the call since they would soon find her phone. But she still has hope. Her phone location was on. As long as they would search for her.

“Boss! She only has her phone and some… ladies’ products with her.” Nora struggled again as she pointed at those things.

“Boss the car is here.” the man repeated with an eerie look on his face. Nora struggled, she pointed at those products with all force.

The man sighed and waved his hands. His aides took out the handkerchief from her mouth.

“My periods were going to start. That is why I have come here. I need to use a tampon or a pad. If not..” she did not continue but a sob escaped her lips.

The man snickered.

“Boss, the car’s seat had been changed recently. If the girl dirtied them.” the man glared at his aide but nodded.

“Fine but someone will follow you. So do not think that you can find a way out from the restroom and run away.” he warned. The girl shuddered. Her eyes widened at the thought that someone would see her using the tampon.

“You can not be serious.” she cried hard but the man only shrugged.

“You have three seconds to make a choice. Either you’re taking one of them inside or you are going to leave without these.” he glanced at the sanitary products. Nora could only grit her teeth.

At least her phone was still there.

“Fine! But he would not look directly at me.” she argued. The man raised a brow. “Why did it matter! You are going to die anyway!” was written all over his face.

But looking at the rage in Nora’s eyes, he rolled his eyes. “Do not look at the young girl directly. Lower your head and stare at her feet instead. If she runs away, shoot right there.”
