Chapter 252: In The Same Team

The man held Nora by her arm and pulled her into a dark corner. If not for the man opening the door, she would have missed it in this darkness.

Nora stared at the small square they called the restroom.

“You have only a minute, missy. Do you want to waste it complaining that it is not aesthetic enough?” He mocked her with disdain.

Nora stared back at him and gritted her teeth like a frustrated arrogant fool.

“Bow your head and then start the counting again. Or have you already forgotten the instructions you have received?” the man narrowed his eyes.

Their eyes met and she saw the desire to kill in him. But as she kept staring at him, he bowed his head and stared at the ground. Just as she thought she had won, he took out a gun and held it tightly as he aimed at her feet.

Nora gasped and flinched. She took a step back, quivering with fear. But in reality, she snickered when she saw the man grinning. Fool! Was all she thought.

Except for buying time, Nora did not want anything, she stopped near the wall and took off her pants while staring at him, she scanned the whole room.

The shop did not have many products for sale. It must be their branch but it was not a base or they would not have been transferring her.

But the owner seems to know them well. If he would be interrogated.

“Faster missy! Our boss is not a patient man.” he warned when she looked around. Nora bit her lips and pulled her undergarment up. She zipped her jeans back.

“I need some heating pads and painkillers too.” she demanded as if it was her right. The man laughed looking bemused.

“You are going to die anyway? Must you be so demanding!” he laughed as he held her by her hair and dragged her out of that small box.

But a man stopped them before they could return to the hall. He whispered something and the man holding her stopped.

“Shit! Now?”

“I do not know. Even the boss is surprised. He thinks that this little bitch played some trick.” They both looked at her as if searching for something.

“She is a fool. Brains are needed to play tricks. It must be a coincidence. Give him what he wants and he will leave. Aiden is trained to deal with these kinds of people.” the man nodded.

“Hey! What do you mean that you do not have it? My friend had confirmed this is the place that sold the best weed. As long as you give it to me, I am ready to pay any price.” The man slammed the table with force as he glared at the shop owner. “I am rich!” he added if he was afraid someone would doubt it.

The shop owner was frustrated. He stared at the closed door with impatience.

“I have already told you sir, we are a legal business. If you do not leave, I have to call the cops.” there was no way that he would call them. But this threat should work.

“Call then! They will arrest you first for selling it then interrogate me since I have not even bought it yet.” the shopkeeper gritted his teeth. It took all his strength to not throw the man out.

“You are disrupting my work. It is my property. Leave now or I will..”

“Call the police!” Alric mocked with his hands folded in front of his chest. “I have already heard that. Go on, call the cops.”

“What do you want!” the man glared at Alric.

“Weed! Have I not told you already?” Alric sighed. “Look man, I know you can not call the police. As long as you give it to me!” he winked at the shopkeeper while his eyes looked at his hands again. He was looking at the watch on his wrist to be specific.

When the director received the call, they were together. He had heard Nora shouting on the other side. That was when he had run here while he had asked director Reid to contact the cops and embassy too. But it was too noisy in the hotel and they lacked contacts.

He had already informed director Ried and they have contacted the cops. His head was dizzy just with the thought that Nora could be in danger. Even when Alric had gone personally to buy time. It had only made him uneasy.

“That is enough time!” a man came forward to throw Alric away. But as his hands were held, Alric struggled and noticed a gun on the man’s waist.

He was horrified. Instead of hiding it and running away like a smart person would have done, Alric shouted hard.

“Gun! This man has a gun. He is a criminal. Perhaps a killer or a kidnapper! There must be.. Mmmppp” before Alric could shout more and gain attention, the man gritted his teeth and pushed Alric inside the car.

That was not the plan. But when his two accomplices saw it, they had no choice but to pull Nora inside the car.

“What did you do? Who is this man?” they looked at Alric in confusion.

“Just a drug addict. He was creating a fuss!” the man sighed. Even he did not want to bring Alric along. But the man was shouting way too much. “We will throw him somewhere in the middle. For now, just drive!” he rubbed his forehead, feeling the headache coming from two fools.

The other man stared hard at them as if he was searching for something while looking at Alric.

“They are from one country. It is too much for a coincidence.” Now that Nora has finally settled on the seat, she studied her kidnappers too.

The kidnappers were tall and strong foreign men. Their thick full beards made them look almost identical.

Disregarding the students they had kidnapped, they started chatting recklessly in heavily-accented Australian English as soon as they got in the car. Thanks to their negligence, Alric looked at Nora too.

But this had caught the eye of their leader.
