“Your daughter is too kind.” The man laughed and drank while others nodded too.

From the start to the end, Nora did not try to mingle with the guests. Except for exchanging a few greetings at the start, she sat at her seat and ate her dinner.

The members had stared at him curiously in the start. They have seen Penny in the office a few times, but Nora had never entered their office. Before they were confused, and doubted David.

But Nora was dressed perfectly. She was dressed much better than David’s wife and real daughter. So, he could not be treating her badly.

And looking at her cold aura and indifferent gaze, they realized the girl had no interest in their business. She only nodded and replied curtly if someone asked her about her views in the business.

While Penny, she was a respectful refined girl. She smiled at them and shared her experience. It was easy to deal with her. Their views about her sisters started to form.

Triston looked at his son with doubt. He could see that his wife was much more interested in Penny than Nora.

“…” silence filled the table. The hands raised paused in mid air as they stared at Kane and Nora. the girl was so talented? They were only told that she had won a random scholarship competition! So they did not pay much attention to it.

They even thought that booking this hotel was way too much. But now? Top researcher! World association?! No wonder the girl was not interested in their company.

“Even when Nora had so many boyfriends at once, Penny had helped her in covering up. You should visit our school sometimes and know the truth.” Soon Penny’s friend’s voice rose at once.

From the start, they have only been courteous toward Nora but only showed their affection toward Penny. So it was that Nora had such a bad character and no integrity.

Everyone turned to look at the door. Nora frowned and glared at the intruder when she paused suddenly, looking stunned.

“Mr Spencer!” David had his doubts when he booked this hotel paying a heavy price. But to see this man coming personally, his eyes widened and filled with joy. Nora had indeed won a jackpot.

“I hope I am not disturbing your small party.”
