Chapter 285: Follow Me

Nora smiled as she drove the car. It was not hard to spot the black car following her all this time. She took the left and entered the busy street and increased the speed when the black car was blocked by two cars.

She took a few lefts and then a right. Before her follower knew, she had already left him behind.

Nora stopped the car in front of a mall. And then took a taxi from there.

When she reached the small building, she looked at him with a deep breath! This was her company. But as she walked to the door, the guard stopped her.

“Do you have any appointments?” the man frowned looking at her fancy clothes.

“Miss..” Nora smiled at the man. She took off her glasses.

“How long has it been since you have been working here? How is this place?” She was speaking as if they had known each other for decades. “Do they treat you well or are they just cold rich people full of arrogance?”

Nora leaned and took out a packet of chips from her bag. She opened it and passed one to him. The man frowned and looked at her.

“This place is good. But what motive do you have to come here? If you do not have any reason, you should leave.” Nora ate chips and looked at him with regret!

“You are so uptight!” Nora shook her head looking dejected, making the man frown.

“Miss..”

“Let her in, she is invited.” a strong voice came out from the manager. He had stopped in front of the door and smiled at Nora.

“Ah, yes sir.” The guard opened the door wide for her when she passed the chips packet to him.

But her childish behavior disappeared as soon as she entered. Her eyes were cold and dark and full of indifference.

“Madam!” the members sitting in the meeting room stood at once. But even their experienced eyes could not hide their shock.

This young girl was the owner of their business? She was the one who had predicted they would get the project? She would solve their future problems?

They could not help but glance at her again and again.

Nora did not mind. She smiled sweetly and took the chair. Everyone followed and sat down.

“You have announced it here, but I would prefer it if others did not know about my identity. Treat me as a rookie who has come to take pointers from the experienced ones.”

“..” they all exchanged glances. The smiling Nora was mesmerizing. Perhaps, they would choose her for their sons at one glance. But waiting for her to solve their marketing problems! Would it not be too much for her?

“Madam!” Blake was the first to call her. He did not care about her acting mood.

“We are in an urgent need. We have received the contract but we can not fulfill the conditions for it.” The man looked perplexed.

“Hmm, explain!” she nodded at the man behind him. He paused. How did she know that he was going to explain it?

Coughing, he continued.

“Well, Alysa Ltd. had a broad chain of restaurants all over the country. They have given us the supply order if their customer knows about our names.

But for that we need to spend a good amount on marketing but..” he paused and looked around, too reluctant to continue.

“You do not have any good spokesperson.” her calm voice gave him some relief and he nodded.

“Yes, we do not have any good advertisements and a reliable spokesperson. Not only that, our company still does not have a strong goodwill. We tried to convince a few celebrities but someone is blocking us.

No one is accepting our offer even when we have doubled the price. Not only that, I have heard that Blue Corn Ltd had warned the media to not give us coverage. Blue Corn Ltd. is a subsidiary company of Atlans Ltd. their Owner, Mr Chris Benard is a billionaire with a good image and strong power in the market. We could not fight against him with our little power. It would be better if we refuse the contract. We will still have some dignity that way. But if we accept it and could not complete their condition. We will lose our future contracts too.

I have already written the report. But sir is too reluctant to accept this outcome.” he sighed, looking disappointed too.

Everyone’s face was gloomy. As if they knew they did not have any choice but they could not give up that easily.

Nora was tapping the table this whole time. Her eyes were fixed on the file in front of her. It contained the list of celebrities they have contacted so far.

“Why don’t we try a new face? Someone who did not have a name but had a good talent. I am sure Mr Benard could not control the whole entertainment industry.” the man frowned hearing her.

“That.. it would be too much of a risk. What if the advertisement failed? And it is also about publicity rights!” looking at the panicked look of the man, Nora smiled leisurely. Her expressions were in contrast to the whole team sitting there.

The man announced, gritted his teeth. He should have known! What could a young girl like her know about the market! It was a foolish idea to seek advice from her.

He glanced at Blake to see him looking embarrassed. But Blake had his eyes set on Nora with a look full of trust. Could it be that their boss fell in love with this young girl? Was that the reason he called her owner of the business?

“Do you think he is the god who could control all the market?” Nora smiled softly, “I have an advertisement plan ready. We have a strategy too. Arrange my meeting with any agency and I will handle the rest. Now do not tell me that you can not even do that!”
