Chapter 308: Kill Each Other

“What the hell have you done?” Sophia’s chest burnt. Her whole body quivers with rage when the housekeeper informed her about the events of the night.

Seething with rage, she went to confront her husband only to find her sleeping leisurely on the ground among the shattered pieces of the glass. He looked no less than a drunkard lying on the roads.

Her eyes burnt and she picked up a bottle of wine and splashed it on him. The man frowned and tossed on the ground. But he did not wake up, making her grit her teeth so hard that they may fall.

“This!” her chest heaved and her hands clenched into a tight fist. “Agatha, ask the staff to leave the house. Only you will stay.” the words came out burning.

Agatha did not dare to speak. She left as soon as she was commanded. When the door was closed, Sophia walked in her high heels and pressed them hard on his hand.

“Aaah!” The man finally woke up. He screamed with pain and horror. His widened eyes slowly clearly and noticed his wife pressing her heels on his hand. He pushed her hard with all his force.

But it only forced Sophia to take a step back. She did not look guilty of regretting at all. She only sneered at him with contempt.

“So you finally decided to wake up?” looking at her conceited gaze, David gritted his teeth. He had enough of this crazy woman.

“Sophia! You have lost your mind completely. Have you gone crazy?” he hissed as he sat up. Only then did he realize he was not on his bed. She was sleeping on the ground?

He looked around with a frown? And felt pain all over his body. His head was still spinning. How much had he drunk last night?

Looking at the confusion in his eyes, she wanted to throw her heels on his face this time. A cold laugh escaped her lips.

“Having trouble remembering the events of last night? Need help jogging your memory?” she hissed with venom in her voice.

David gritted his teeth as he forced himself to stand up. He hissed at Sophia and held her arms tightly. “I just drank too much last night. SOphia you have lost your mind. This is my last warning. If you keep behaving like this, I will give you divorce.”

He pushed her back with force. Sophia staggered a bit but held the table to stand. Her eyes did not have any fear as he had expected. They seem to be getting cold and full of disgust.

“Ha! You think you can get rid of me just because you want to? Do not forget David that I am your confidant. I know your every deep dark secret. I can ruin you any time I desire.” she hissed with venom in her voice.

David stiffened for a second. His face twisted with annoyance. If not for those secrets, he would have left her or killed her long ago. But he knew she had given proof of his crime to someone. The moment she died suspiciously, his crimes would be in the public eye.

He closed his eyes and inhaled hollow breaths.

“What do you want, Sophia? Why are you creating a scene early in the morning? Have I not given you everything you wanted in life? I married you! I gave you a child and I let you control my life for two decades!” yet he did not love her.

He was so depraved to lust after his own niece like he used to be obsessed with his sister in law but this man felt nothing for his own wife. She would not have been this hurt if he had an affair. But nora! Just thinking about it makes her feel pathetic.

But she would not cry! She would return this pain! This humiliation to him hundred fold. She was only grateful that Penny did not return with her. She decided to rest in the hotel after working the whole night.

“Last night while I was working with our daughter to make her a celebrity. You.. ” she somehow spoke without killing him, “you forced yourself on Nora! She hit you and ran away.”

“…..” she noticed horror registering on his face and then shock, confusion and in the end guilt..

“So you finally remembered!” he did not! David rubbed his forehead and pinched the space between his brows.

He remembered having a conversation with Nora here. She had served him drinks and looked at her seductively and then he had held her hands. But that was it. His memory ends there.

“That is rubbish!”

“Rubbish! Ha! Hahahaha! You think it is rubbish!” a volcano burst under her chest! “Staff had heard you. They have seen her running away in torn clothes. And… Damn it! David! Can you not think from your mind for once? Does your dick need to interfere whenever it is about Nora? She is your niece. Your brother’s daughter for god’s sake! You are a disgusted man.” she could not curse him enough. The more she thought about it.. Uggghhh! Damn it!

“That is not the case!” David frowned. “I must be drunk. I… where is she now?” he pushed the files away and sat on the seat rubbing his forehead. “Ask someone to make a hangover drink for me.”

“That is it!” Sophia was dumbfounded. “That is all you need to say after molesting your niece? You want a hangover soup and blame everything on your drinks? What if she went to the court Damn it?” she cursed again making him glare at her.

“Can she prove it? We both know that Nora is nothing but a pawn in our hands. Now stop overreacting and leave the room.” he glared at her but when she kept staring daggers at him with her eyes, he sneered. “Fine! Stay here, I need a bed anyways. Ask the maids to serve me soup and drinks in our room, my dear wife.”

“Go die! I will mix poison in them.”
