Chapter 312: Happy With Your Decisions

Nora stared at Victor’s car and sighed as she opened the door and left Alric alone. She did not ask him how he knew where Victor was. For some reason he always knew everything.

She heard footsteps behind and Alric entered in the elevator with her. When she extended the hand to press one, he beat her to it and pressed three.

Nora smiled wryly when the lift stopped on the third floor. She tilted her head to look at him.

He walked and knocked on the fifth door. A waiter was standing there to ensure privacy. But when he noticed it was Alric. He took a step back and bowed his head.

Alric knocked the door again but when he did not hear a reply, he looked at the waiter again. The waiter stepped forward and opened the door for them.

A strange power filled Nora’s chest when Alric waited for her to enter first.

She took a deep breath and walked in. Victor was sitting with a few men and women. They all dressed formally. Langdon was sitting beside him with a glass of wine in her hands. She was smiling brightly.

When she saw Nora, the smile stiffened. Victor stood up looking surprised.

“Nora..” he walked toward her in confusion. “How did you know I was here?”

“Did you kiss your boss?” her question stunned Victor. He froze at this place.

Everyone in the room was from Jhonson’s company. They all knew Langdon was Victor’s boss. They all looked at Victor and then at Langdon with a horrified gaze. That would be like a big age gap with Victor too young!

Langdon’s cheeks burnt, noticing their strange gazes. She bit her lips hard with the desire to kill this girl.

“Nora, leave the room at once. We will talk about it later.” Victor finally came back to his senses when he heard gasps behind him.

He glared at Nora for being so careless with her words.

“That would not be needed. Since you did not deny it, our relationship ends right here. Do not follow me or call me.” she shook her head. Her voice did not hold any emotion as if victor nothing but a known stranger to her.

Everyone was stunned since they had seen Nora with Victor. The couple were always smiling and Victor looked so much in love.

Was Langdon the home wrecker there?

“Nora! What the hell are you speaking about? You.. have you had another argument with your family. You are here to take out your anger? Or is it because I did not come to meet you as promised?” looking at the man who used to smile at her as if she was his whole world. Nora felt a strange relief that he was accusing her.

She was not going to break his heart for her revenge. The feeling was relieving.

“Nora.. babe!” Victor noticed the look on her face and for some reason, he felt hurt. He never wanted to let Nora go. He just wanted her to feel jealous. But that face… Why did it look relieved instead of angry?

“It is alright Victor. I do not want to disturb you for a long time. You were having fun. Carry on.” she nodded at the people behind him. They all did not know how to respond. With flushed cheeks they nodded back. Everyone except Langdon. She looked like she wanted to tear Nora apart.

“Miss nora. It looks like you are the one who has found a new lover. But to pass the blame, you are here accusing me and master Jhonson. That is not the way you end things.” Langdon stood up the moment she noticed Alric standing in the corner.

This little bitch! Did she think Victor was an easy target because he had never complained about her acts! He could be a fool in love. But she was not blind!

Victor frowned and looked behind Nora. his body stiffened when he noticed it was Alric.

“Nora. Why is he here with you?” Victor’s eyes immediately went cold. The guilt in them vanished instantly.

“He is the one who told me.” she looked back at Langdon. “He even has proof if your memory is not helping you. Do you want to be my manager?” Lagdon stiffened.

She could deny the charges and act innocent. But if there was proof! But how? They kissed in her office after the staff had left.

There was no one in the office but she and Victor. Who could capture it? No! The girl must be bluffing!

“Ha! Do you think anyone will believe your lies here? Go on! I want to see that proof of yours.” She challenged me with a cold smirk on her face. Only a fool would fall for such a trap!

Victor shifted at his place. He held Nora’s hands.

“Nora, this is a private matter. Let’s go and solve it separately.” he squeezed her hands when she did not turn to look at him.

“Alric!” The man took a step forward. He took out his phone and soon a video started to play in the silent room. Langdon’s eyes widened. She knew this room. It was her office. How could this be?

Her eyes widened and her lips parted with shock. But she did not have time to think.. She must stop this video. She ran to stop Alric but it was too late.

Soon, Victor entered the room and sat beside her to discuss something. But instead of listening to him, she pounced on him and kissed him with force.

It was clear that she had forced herself on him. He struggled before holding her and kissing her back. Victor’s face went red with humiliation. He gritted his teeth and groaned.

Nora jerked his hands away and sighed.

“I wanted to end on a better note, Victor. But you leave me with no choice. I hope you stay happy with your decisions. And I request you to never cross my path again and yes, I still want my share in that game. After all, it is my idea.”
