“You can refuse them.” Alric finally raised his head and met her eyes. There was no expectation in them, they were only filled with worry for him.

She was worried for his comfort. Even if the thought was ambiguous and deceptive, Alric was happy to entertain it.

“Do you want someone else to work with you?” The question was sudden and Nora had not given a thought to it so far.

It had been so long. They have suffered so many things together. Yet it felt like she didn’t know this man at all.

“I agreed already. Why are you still standing here?” Alric looked behind Nora. The men flinched and left to prepare immediately. Alric stood up and walked toward Nora until they were only a step away.

“Do not draw the line! I have already told you, I am a responsible husband.” a breath was struck in her chest. For some reason it felt heavy. The word husband was stinging her yet she could not help but wonder what Alric could promise her with this pain!?

“Alright, I will turn you into a hero with me.” she extended his hand with a bright smile on her face. Alric seems to be struck by lightning. He could not look away at all as he held her hands. A strange smile appeared on his face.

Soon they were given the clothes. Nora was wearing a short skirt and shirt that looked like a uniform. While Alric was given a casual shirt with pants looking more like a strict professor. The setting was of a school.

“We need a college girl who enjoys drinking on her breaks or while studying. It kept her fresh and helped her in concentrating. Could you pull it off?” Nora nodded at once. With the glasses on her nose and books in her hands, she looked like a studious student.

“And you sir, you are a professor tired of work, the student would offer you a drink in gratitude and you accept it because it is a Mojo Drink. A healthy and refreshing drink that you support for yourself and your students. Did you get it?” Alric stared at Nora. his eyes seem to be fixed on her.

When she looked at him worriedly, he finally tapped the table and nodded.

Soon the scene was set. Alric was sitting behind a table full of reports and notes sheets, testpaper. He looked overwhelmed yet seductive.

“Sir! You look tired. Thank you for working so hard for us.” she passed him the drink with a smile of first love.

Would you be able to come?” his eyes looked at Noa with expectation but she shook her head. Although he was prepared for it, his eyes still dimmed.

“No one must know that I am the chairman, Blake. For the world, you are the owner of the company and always will be. My enemies are too many, I can not take the risk.” Blake noticed how Alric shifted in his seat.

He sighed and hid the disappointment with a nod.

“I will read all the documents and leave notes for you. Even if I am not there, I will make sure the company will thrive and reach new heights. This project is just the start. I am planning to start our own cafes supporting our brands.” her eyes sparkled as she planned their future.

Alric, who was silent all this time, could not help but raise his head and look at her eyes.
