Chapter 347: A Sin And A Sinner!

Penny stared at her body covered with bruises. There were red and blue marks all over her skin. It was her eighteenth birthday yet she had been used like a ragged doll.

“Stop staring at yourself and get ready. Nora would not wait for you all day.” Penny flinched. Her eyes burnt like never before as if they had lost all their senses. It happened because of Nora! If not for her! She would have never suffered. Ethan noticed the flickering of her eyes but he did not care.

Her family did not hold power like before. Penny was nothing now. She did not know but he had made a video of what transpired between them. Even if her family came to him later, he had a bargaining chip to save himself. He did not need to pretend to be respectful anymore.

“Wear this and come out in fifteen minutes. I am waiting for you in the car.” he looked at her marks with a smirk and licked his lips. Penny shrunk. Even when she had promised herself to him, she had thought he would be gentle to her. They would share a passionate night. But this!

She closed the door when he laughed. Her actions made her laugh mockingly. When she opened the door after changing clothes, Ethan was frowning with displeasure.

“You are late,” he remarked. She noticed he did not open the door for her. Lowering her head, she entered the car. It was only a ten minute ride to the hotel. Yet she felt it took an eternity as she sat alone. His one hand reaching for her thighs and massaging them.

“You were so wet earlier. I wonder how you would scream my name and wither under me.” he licked his lips with lust. When the car stopped, Penny jumped out of the car hurriedly.

He followed her unhurriedly. They entered the hotel with a backdoor that led them straight to the kitchen. Ethan discussed something with a chef there. The man looked at Penny strangely. Penny shrunk and held her dress tightly.

“Come here!” Ethan whispered. Only then did she walk closer. He leaned on her , making her flinch. “Give me that vial.” with her trembling hands, she took out the small glass bottle from her pocket. The chef mixed it in wine and passed the tray to her.

“Go and serve it yourself.” Penny stared at the glasses strangely, making the man frown. “Having second thoughts now?” A few people turned to look at them, making the man frown deeper. Penny shook her head hurriedly. She held the tray tightly. Ethan walked behind her.

He guided her to the third floor and pointed at the door with her chin.

“Everyone in the room would suffer the same fate to not create suspicions. Go and serve it.” Penny nodded. She held the tray so tight that her knuckles turned white. Her eyes had fear and a strange thrill.

She could already imagine now falling on her knees and gasping for air. She would suffer. She was bound to suffer. Penny had covered her face with a mask. When she opened the door, Nora was sitting with a handsome young man. They were laughing over something she said.

Penny’s eyes burnt with jealousy. First Victor, then Alric. Nora had eyes for Chris too. She was the real slut. Yet no one caught her! She should have been at her place. Her video should have been viral.

“Hey! Why are you standing there like a statue?” the man frowned looking at her glaring at them.

Penny lowered her head immediately afraid that she would be recognized. She walked closer and placed the tray on the table. She bowed and turned when the man stopped her again.

“Why are you wearing a mask? Take it off.” Penny’s heart raced but she shook her head softly.

“I am suffering from a cold. I am afraid that it will spread, sir.” the man frowned further.

“How could they send a sick person to serve? I will make a formal complaint.” he stood up making Penny panic.

“Sir! I could not afford losing this job. Please! Today is my birthday. Could you be this considerate?” Penny sniffled and cried. Nora, who was silent all this time, laughed.

The man turned to look at her. His gaze immediately softened and endeared. Penny scowled and her nails dug deeper into her skin.

“Forget about her, we are here for important work.” the man glared at Penny as if it was all her mistake that he was distracted. He sat again and Nora took out the papers.

“Do we need to be so formal? I have already told you I will follow you no matter what. As long as…” Penny took the chance and served the wine in glasses.

No matter how much Nora laughed and flirted, she would meet a miserable end.

“You still need to sign it to make the deal.” Nora sighed and picked up the water. Penny immediately picked up wine to replace her glass.

“Madam, you should try this. It is our speciality.” madam word burnt her tongue but she spoke it with honey in her voice.

“Tsk! Are you trying to curry favor now? She had already forgiven you. Now leave before I change my mind.” The man looked at Penny as if she was a pest. Penny hid her rage. She could endure a bit more as long as they drink. She was not even guilty that he would die too. Serve him right for such a sharp tongue.

Just then the door opened. A woman walked in wearing high heels. Penny was only concentrating on Nora. she did not care how many more people would die with her. It was her mistake to invite so many of them.

“Why have you called me here? And I thought the meeting was private.” Penny froze. Her whole body shuddered as she raised her head and stared at the woman.

Nora’s lips curled into a smirk. “Aunt, I have called you to give a gift. Is this how you should treat me?”
