“Me!” the word was like an explosive falling into the room. They all stared at Nora as if she had grown another head. No! This could not be! She could not be the owner. She is just a kid.

Debra stood up in confusion.

“Nora Stone, is it? I have heard about you in the news. About your family! Look Nora, it is a big claim! Are you sure you want to do this? Mr SPencer is still in his office.” Though she was polite, she warned Nora of the consequences.

“Why are you even asking her? Go and call Mr Spencer. I am sure he would teach this brat a lesson.” Prudence scowled looking at Nora. This girl was only trying to create a scene.

Prudence frowned. She knew Alric well. They have shared the same circle. But Alric was never closer to her or their. He only followed Ava in those circles, mingled with their parents a bit and left.

“You can check the documents if you are still doubtful, Miss Prudence. But if you want to continue to be a part of the company, I request you to be respectful. Anyone else having doubts or questions.”

“…” they all stared at each other. Words failed them. It was clear to them that Alric had opened the company and gifted securities to Nora. or else how could a minor invest in stock market or make a contract.

Even when she warned them, not many took her words seriously. They were sure that Alric was indulging her. But when the company would suffer loss in her hands, he would take the management back from her. It was only a matter of time.

“I hope you all accommodate with the plan. In the future I will work harder to get more resources!” she stood up with a smile. Only then did the trance break and everyone stood up hastily.
