Chapter 382: Bring Me That Deal

“Alric!” she called him again with force when he walked past her as if she was nothing. “You can not insult me like that.”

“…” Alriced turned to meet the eyes of the secretary. How could a mere staff have so much courage? “Why?” he titled his head and stared deeply at her, “just the fact that you are sleeping with my father and still plan to sleep with me, proves what kind of woman you are.”

The woman’s face went pale. She was only twenty three. Even younger than Alric. Yet she was sleeping with his father. But she had never shared it with everyone.

Could it be.. Mr Spencer! But he.. Looking at her ashen face, many eyes turned to look at her with shock and horror.

When the woman returned to her senses, Alric had already left her alone.

“You are getting better every day!” his father seemed to be in a good mood as she laughed looking at his son. His eyes filled with joy.

He raised a brow but did not react to her praise. Mr Spencer did not mind his cold attitude. He kept smiling at his son.

“You guessed that she was sleeping with me just because she called you by your name. You will soon surpass me with your wits, Alric!” The man gleamed with joy but Alric only found it disgusting.

“What if Ava learns about it?” Alric never dared to call Ava mother in front of this man. He was afraid that even his mother would be used as a pawn by this beast.

“She will understand. After all, she has always been complacent with me. Even you.. I Am learning it now.” The very fact that he dismissed his own wife as if her thoughts and desire did not matter forced Alric to stand up and leave.

It took all his patience to keep sitting.

“So, Alric. Recently, I liked a land but its owner is not ready for the deal. I tried to convince him. but…

“I do not have time for your nonsense” he cut his father without an ounce of respect. “I am here to tell you that I am not like you. Using women as objects. I like Nora and I will marry her.

“And I did not stop you.” Mr Spencer sighed. “I have even sent proofs to you and warned you from the ploys her family is playing. I know where David is! All I want is for my own son to return home in exchange. Yet your lover is ready to prove me as a villina. To the limit of throwing tantrums in my office.” he scoffed. “Either she had seen many dramas or her tormented family had done a number on her mind.” All in all she was a crazy bitch.

Mr Spencer might not have said those words out loud. But his face showed disgust for the girl.

“I will not bear an insult against her. One more word and you will regret it.” Alric warned Mr spencer. The man stared at his son intently. “Do not mutter jokes!” was written all over his face. But Alric’s eyes narrowed.

“If you know the secret of the world, I know your secret Mr Spencer. If it comes to do or die, I will not let you off so easily.” Mr Spencer only looked at his son with a helpless gaze as if he was throwing a tantrum.

“You are not a teenager anymore, Alric. I have expected better from you.” he sighed. “Forget it, return to home and bring me that deal and I will forget about her behavior today.” Alric smiled at his father.

His father smiled back. He knew that if he waited patiently he would find Alric’s weakness and bring him back. His smile widened just thinking about it.

“First, you need to see this!” Mr SPencer raised a brow. Not liking that Alric was still trying to fight. By now, he should have accepted defeat already. He sighed and took the file from his son.

But his nonchalant mood told Alric that he did not care what was in the file.

“Alric! I am only playing alone because..” his hands froze. He paused, his eyes widened.

“What the hell is this!” his eyes widened with shock and filled with hatred. “Alric!”

“Mr spencer! I have only returned what you have given to my wife. Now, I have a date with my wife. So I will leave you alone.” he stood up with a refined smile on his face.

From the start to the end, he did not lose his composure at all. Mr Spencer gritted his teeth. He had always been the man of power but Alric had challenged him again and again.

“Alric! Do not forget that you are my son. You have to return to me sooner or later, But if you really sold the shares I have gifted you, you would lose that chance forever” he warned. Alric, who had already reached the door, paused. What gave his father the confidence to threaten him about returning home! If he wanted to return home, he would have already returned and stopped all this fuss!

He looked at his father with a smile that did not leave any warmth.

“Who knows how many sons you have, Mr Spencer. Even now, you have a good chance to give birth or another one. So, wait patiently, one of them will return to you for sure.” Without waiting for his reply, he left the room.

Alric paused when he heard something hitting the door with force. The secretaries looked at him with an awkward glance.

The one seething in the corner threw daggers at him. Alric casually walked to the finance department head office. Though Mr Spencer and Alric had bad blood. Everyone knew Mr Spencer had chosen Alric as his heir. They were all very respectful toward him.

“Mr Spencer Junior!” The man stood up and offered Alric a seat.

“Mr. Robbison, can you provide me with the budget for the next project and about the land my father wanted!”
