Chapter 402: Lies!
The girl stared at the ceiling. How long had it been since she was looking at it?

The housekeeper had called her thrice now. But she did not have the strength to reply. Her body was still tied with the four bed posts and spreadeagled.

Last night, he had tied her and ravaged her. The butplug in her body was still moving making her uncomfortable. But she did not feel it more than the pain on her whole body.

After having her thrice, he had stood up and flogged her. She didn’t even remember how many days had been since she had been brought here. But it felt like a century had passed.

Though a part of her mind knew it was only a day or two. Yet, it felt like she had been locked here as an animal for a long time.

The door was abruptly opened.

“Since you were not replying, I do not have any choice.” but the housekeeper did not look guilty at all as she walked inside.

She watched her tears filled face and various welt marks on her body and sighed.

“It must have been hard. But if you pass this time, you will have a better life.” she soothed in a soft voice as she walked closer and untied her hands and legs.

Blood rushed to her body parts agin and the girl gasped with pain and closed her eyes. She started crying suddenly, making the housekeeper sigh.

“Young girl you must have known what you had signed for when you were brought here. So do not behave like a suffering woman. You are getting paid so well. Do you know how expensive those dresses were and the master had left a card for you again. He wants you to go shopping and to a salon so that you can pamper yourself. Do you know how expensive that is!

If not for him, you have been living as a prostitute in a bar. So pick yourself up and stand up. You need to wash and eat.” the woman shouted in a cold voice as if she was dealing with a kid throwing a tantrum.

When the girl still did not move, the housekeeper sighed.

“Stand up, I will give you a plate to eat today. Alright?” Even when Chris was not here, this woman made sure that she lived like bitch. She did not take off the collar and leash.

She moves with her leash and eats the food thrown on the ground. The housekeeper only sits while the girl cooks and cleans the house. She does all the chores while this woman only sips while telling the girl that it would be better and she was lucky.

The girl finally stood up and the housekeeper held her with her leash and walked her to the washroom.

“Clean yourself up and then clean the house. After cooking, you can go shopping today.” the housekeeper spoke in a soothing voice as she patted the girl. “You know, I will take off the leash, but you can not take the collar, you know that already. Right?” She only left when the girl nodded her head and wiped the tears from her face.

“She had sorted all of it?” Chris had come to the office in a good mood but her mood soured instantly when he heard that all files sent to Nora’s office had returned. She had already read all of them and signed after making necessary changes. The fact that she did not consult him at all and signed all the documents by herself made his face dark instantly.

“She must have taken Mr Spencer’s help. The guard confirmed that she had taken all the files home. Chris paused and then laughed.

“Ha! I should have known about it. No wonder she finished it in just two days.” he scoffed and pushed the files again.

Aiden watched the man closely holding the last document tightly in his hands.

“Sir! It had been three days. Miss Stone had asked when we were going to sign the papers?” he did not need to explain what papers he was talking about.

Chris was waiting for the other parties to reply before signing the papers. If there would be another way, he did not need to sell these shares. This was the first company he had started.

“Tell her I am still considering it. Who knew maybe she would offer triple the price.” he joked with a dark gleam. Aiden tensed all over. If the deal was cancelled.. As if his thoughts could be read easily, Chris snickered.

“She would not let go of these shares. For her, the company had a sentimental value. The more she had to wait, the more she would be desperate.” The man had a point. Aiden nodded with understanding.

“Then we must show our need in the upcoming meeting. The AGM is scheduled tomorrow. If we could find mistakes in Miss Stone’s work, we can prove that she is not capable enough to hold her job.” Chris finally smiled at Aiden.

“I know that I can depend on you. Then I will wait for a good show.” Chris finally opened the files and started working in a good mood.

He could not wait to see Nora beg for his help in the meeting. Thinking of Nora’s tear stricken face begging him made his pulse race.

He was reminded of the young girl waiting at his home. He picked up the phone in a good mood and dialled the landline since he had not brought a mobile for his pet.

The call range thrice before Miss Sinclair picked it up.

“Hello!” The voice had a hint of impatience and it only made Chris frown.

“Where is she?” the housekeeper paused. She stared at the watch. It had only been half an hour since the girl had left. What if Mr Benard got angry that she left too late. She did not want to be scolded because she had forced the girl to complete all the house chores before leaving.

“She is sick, so I have given her the meds. She is sleeping now.”
