“Miss Stone, this is such a good plan.” but she did not know the contents of the meeting in advance! Did she?

They invited her because she was in the office. No one had ever expected that she would share ideas. Then how did it happen! Nora noticed their curious gaze as if they wanted to know her secret. They could not believe that a young girl like her knew business.

She had seen these products in the market in her past life. She had heard Benard talking about the changes they needed to make it a success. She had shared them ahead of time so that they did not need to revise the products.

And this time, the success was not credited to Benard! One by one! She would take his every success and name it hers!

“It is nothing much. I have seen the designs of our company for a long time and investigated them so that I could prove myself useful for the company. You are only exaggerating my small contribution.” looking at her humble smile, they were awestruck.

The girl they were wary of was so easy to talk to. She did not look cold and ruthless as she had been described. The staff suddenly felt at ease around her.

The smiles started to grow and more people circled her and shared their opinions. Nora welcomed all of them.

“As much as I am glad and relieved that you all want to discuss it for a long time, we have other work to complete too. Alright everyone, back to work!” the production manager pulled all of them away so that Nora could breathe.

Nora smiled at the old man, making him blush. He cleared his throat and pulled everyone out of the room.

When the staff left the room, they could help but sigh. Forget about boys, even girls seem mesmerized by their new young boss.

“I never knew our new young boss was so wise. She did not feel eighteen at all. What’s more she is not even eighteen. I have always thought I am a genius, but now I am embarrassed.” the girl sighed as she hugged the file.

“Hey! You are setting the standard too high. There are hardly any girls like her!” another employee chucked. “But for me, you are always the best.”

The girl blushed and pushed him away. Many laughed but they all believed that Nora had shown exceptional skills. The rumor that all tasks are managed by Alric, did not seem true.

Samantha watched everyone leaving and gritting her teeth. So what if she had shared good ideas with everyone. It was Chris who was handling this company for a long time.

“It was just a coincidence. And sir was not in a good mood today. Or else, how could she outshine boss.” Samantha spoke in a loud voice pausing everyone in their steps.

Suddenly, the atmosphere went awkward. They all looked at her with embarrassment. They were not comparing, they were only happy for their new boss.

They all hurriedly left but Samantha did not feel any better. She felt indignant.

Aiden followed her and warned her.

“Samantha, the boss , did not want to challenge Miss Stone. You do not need to target her. And the boss did not need your protection. If you think this act is enough to gain his attention, then you are making a mistake.” Aiden’s voice did not hold much emotion.

They have worked together for years. It was his duty to warn her once. But if she still did not learn her lesson and kept repeating her mistakes, then it had nothing to do with her anymore.

“Sir! I did not mean anything. I was just surprised by their flickering minds. But I would not make any mistake, I know my limits.” Samantha spoke in a polite voice. Her professional charm was topnotch.

Aiden stared at her for a while before nodding and leaving. It would be best to concentrate on other companies more than this one.

Since they were going to leave soon, Samantha would not be their responsibility anymore.

Samantha heaved a sigh of relief when the man left. She watched the file intently and then her lips curled into a sneer.

Natalie held her shopping bag tightly as she sat on the corner table in a cafe inside the mall. From there she could see the whole floor. Her eyes stared at the happy couples.

The young boys holding hands of the girls and smiling at them while they shopped together. Her eyes filled with jealousy and longing.

“Mam, your coffee and cake.” a waitress placed the order on the table. Her eyes stopped at the strange necklace Nat was wearing before she hurriedly looked away and left.

Nat stared at the cutleries. It felt strange to sit on a chair and eat with a fork. Looking at the small cake, she felt her eyes heating.

She hurriedly looked at the ceiling and blinked her eyes a few times. Then she hurriedly ate the cake as if someone was going to snatch it from her.

She drank the coffee and rodred one chocolate pudding and ate it constantly. Each time, she picked up a lot of tissue papers to wipe her hands and mouth.

But the feeling of disgust never leaves her. After eating a few more desserts, she stood up and left.

Another waitress came to clean her table. She put all the tissues in her tray with the empty glasses and cleaned the table well.

Once she was done, she went to the kitchen without clearing the tissues in the dustbin. She walked to the corner where a chef was waiting for her.

He glanced at the used utensils and tissues.

“Is that all?” the waitress stared at the used things and nodded with an eager face. The man nodded back and took out a wad of cash from his pocket.

The girl’s eyes gleamed, she passed the garbage to the chef and left taking the notes.

The chef placed everything in a neat bag and left the cafe too.
