Chapter 408: Three Times
Chris opened the cuff and pulled her in his arms. Her body was freezing. As if she had felt the warmth of his body, even when she was unconscious, she leaned on him and started shivering.

Chris was in a bad mood when he had come, but looking at her suffering, he felt much better.

He brought her to the bed and covered her with a duvet. The girl held the duvet tightly and curled herself into a small ball looking like a fetus.

Chris watched her with glowing eyes. A strange spark was burning them. In the next moment he touched her cheeks and kissed her deep and hard.

Her eyes started to tremble and finally opened. The moment she noticed his presence, her eyes widened with shock. She tried to struggle but he held her tightly with one hand. She had become thinner and weaker. When she felt his force, her body started to give in instinctively and her struggle became weaker.

The man smirked and took off his shirt with his other hand. Soon the girl started shivering for a completely different reason.

His hands started to dance on her body giving her pain and pleasure at the same time. The way he was pinching her nipples, she witched and moaned with pain.

Her moans started to fill the entire room and it made Chris go crazy with lust and a strange satisfaction because these moans were not of pleasure, she was crying with pain.

But… suddenly, he stood up and left the room. Nat watched him leaving with teary eyes. But the moment the door closed, her eyes sharpened as if tears and weakness were never part of her life.

She watched the door with hatred and the desire to kill.

Chris walked out and dialled Aiden’s number.

“You remembered the girl I brought from the club. I want you to investigate her again. Even if the matter is as simple as her allergies from peanuts, I want to know it.”

The company was hardly surviving, the new manager stared at the screen with dark eyes. He knew too well that it was not the old manager’s mistake. But who was he to comment on?

He watched the screen as the old manager accepted his crimes in front of the crowd. Which fool would do it as long as he was not drugged or… paid!

And the manager knew too well it was a later one. He rubbed his temples as he leaned on the seat. He wished to be anywhere but here.

But before he could curse his luck, the door opened and Aiden entered. He instinctively turned to the screen when he heard the sound. His eyes narrowed with a cold gleam.

He was not even looking at the manager, but the manager felt his skin pricking. He stood up at once and greeted Aiden.

Aiden finally tore his gaze and nodded at the new manager.

“You should not listen to it if it worries you. The rules are simple Kimberly, as long as you follow the boss commands and take care of the small issues for him, he will take care of you. It might look that Sinclair had suffered but he was paid enough to never need work for generations.” Aiden watched the man intently.

Kimberly felt like a snake was breathing on his neck. One wrong reply and he would suffer hell. So, he forced himself to calm down and nodded.

“I will try my best sir. I will clean all the mess for the boss.” As if the reply he wanted was heard. The man nodded at once. Aiden placed the files on the table.

“For the start, we need to work on the image of the company. Mr Benard wants us to….” It had been a long and exhausting meeting. The new manager was a wimp who did not know a shit. Aiden could feel a headache just by looking at him.

Now he wanted a hot shower. But he had just left the office when Chris called him. A part of him wanted to ignore the call and return home. These days the job was too hectic and he felt that he was not paid enough.

But cursing, he still picked up the phone.

“Boss!”

“Even if the matter is as simple as her allergies from peanuts, I want to know it. I want the reports before morning.” Aiden gritted his teeth as the call was cut without waiting for his reply.

He stared at the time on the screen. It was close to midnight. If this was the first thing to report in the morning… Aiden let go of a deep breath, he was holding and closed his eyes. He kicked his car before opening the door with force and sped off.

The next thing he knew, he was already in front of the bar. Since it was late at night, the place was crowded with all kinds of people lurking around.

The moment he walked out, he grimaced looking at the crowd. But as if the bouncers had noticed his presence, they pulled the crowd to leave him a way. Aiden nodded at them as he entered.

The moment he took a step in, music welcomed him. The air was filled with sex and drugs. The dim light made the place more sensuous. Three girls walked to him and wrapped their arms around him before he could even speak.
