Chapter 419: Forgive You!
“You are lucky that your boss is busy. Or you would have been dead!” The housekeeper watched the tightly shut room and sighed with disappointment.

Recently, she did not harm the girl but today Nat was overboard. She wanted to teach Nat a lesson. She was sure the boss was angry. The way he looked at the girl was different. If not for the man beside that girl, the boss would have taken her then and there.

The housekeeper was not a fool to not notice the slight resemblance between girls. Both are around the same age and they both have similar eye color and hair style. The main difference was their nature. The girl looked too confident while nat was a nervous child. And she was glad that she was not dealing with a confident woman.

She sighed looking at the door once again. But it did not matter. She was sure the boss would hurt this girl after she gave birth. Her comfort was temporary. Just the thought made her smirk and she looked at the girl with daunting eyes.

Nat was enjoying her cake like a fool she was! Did she think that her happiness was for a lifetime!?

“Nat, it is already dark. The books look busy. Warm the food when he comes out and remember not to make him angry. Right?” Nat still had the spoon in her mouth when she raised her head and nodded like an innocent child.

The girl was herself a child. How would she raise a kid? The housekeeper shook her head. As long as she was paid well, she had nothing to do with it.

After cleaning the house, she left in a hurry. She would make plans with her husband for tonight.

Nat watched the woman leaving. Her innocent face turned cold instantly. She pushed the cake aside. She did not need to look around to find cameras here. After living here for a long time, she knew where the cameras were. She was surprised to confirm that the meeting room and study room did not have cameras indeed even when the bedroom had cameras. At least she had a place where she could hide and plan things.

She stood up and stirred the food the cook had cooked. Slowly a strange powder fell from her ring. It was slowly mixed in the food. Nat leaned and took a breath and smiled. The food seems delicious.

She looked left and right and where there was no one, she took some of it and ate it. But as soon as she ate a spoon, she covered her mouth and ran to the washroom and vomited all the food she had eaten.

That was the moment when Chris walked out. He felt disgusted just by looking at her pale face. But looking at her ill face, he did not scold her much.

“Nat! Next time if someone visits me from the office, or you do not know them, you will stay in your room. You are not my wife or girlfriend to flaunt yourself. Or you think walking in front of them will strengthen your position?” His vicious voice could have made any woman cry. But Nat just bowed her head and bit her lips. She looked so innocent but what stopped Chris was her belly.

He watched as she looked at her stomach with worry.

“But the child will always be my son. So you do not need to worry about his future. Now go and rest.” nat nodded without a word. She left there with her head hung low.

Chris frowned when he did not find Mrs Sinclair in the kitchen. There were no other maids too. He frowned as he looked at the cooked food.

He paused and opened his mouth to call nat again to serve him a meal. But remembering how listless she looked earlier, he closed his mouth shut and warmed his food.

“I need more devoted staff!” he murmured as he sat down and ate the food. Recently the food was getting more and more delicious.

As he started eating, he opened his mobile. The details of the products he had made were already sent to a few investors. Though he was suffering recently, he still had many contacts and a good name in the business world. Spencers could not oppress him for a long time. He smirked and took another bite of his meal.

There were already enquiries by some of them. He replied to them with a smirk on his face. But he did not accept any offer. He would wait for many of them to bid and then he would choose the best offer!

“Do you think you can ruin me just like that, Nora? I have been in the business world when you were still learning how to write your own name.”He read the contents of many invitations and felt his confidence boosting again.

Once he had finished reading all of them and replied to everyone, he noticed the plates were already empty. He ate twice the normal and even looked content after finishing his meal.

“It must be a business deal,” he laughed. He should thank Nora for giving him a new idea. That meeting was not that bad all in all.

Once done, he did not bother to pick the empty dishes and just washed his hands and left. He crossed nat’s room but stopped before reaching his.

He watched his closed door for a long time as if waiting for something to happen. And when he heard the sound of footsteps inside, he smirked and opened the door.

Nat had just taken a shower. Her face was still flushed with the hot water and her eyes glistened. She was surprised to see him.

“You have started to take my name normally!” he tilted his head and raised a brow. “You used to call me master.” Nat bit her lips. It had been days and he never complained about it so she thought…
