Chapter 421: The Next Madam
Nat knew someone must be following her and if she left a message it would reach Nora. the girl would come to save her no matter what! She had proved it by coming to Chris’ house two days ago.

The girl was so strong despite being the same age! Nat felt she was so weak and helpless. She often cried when she had accepted this fate herself. But she had never accepted a child! She told herself but she shook her head.

She could not accept these negative thoughts. It would burn her to hell.

Nat looked outside to distract herself and realized they had crossed the crowd of the city. It was not a path that went to fancy areas where they could shop and eat. Nat cursed at once. She should have known this woman was up to no good when she showed so much concern and love.

But she controlled her expressions and forced a smile on her face.

“Where are we going?” she asked, turning to look at the elderly woman. “I thought we would go to the mall or a market.” the woman chuckled as she drove herself. She did not even bring a driver! Nat should have never agreed, she should have vomited and then lied as she was sick.

It was not too late! Could she do it now?

“We are going to meet madam. She heard that you are pregnant and wanted to meet you.” Nat felt like her heart stopped as the woman explained herself. “Natalie! I know that you are not a lover. But madam did not know that. She thinks of you as a potential wife for boss. If you grab this chance well, your child could be a legitimate child and you could be the next madam.” the woman spoke in an alluring voice as if she was selling a treasure to Nat.

Nat wanted to scoff. The man was going to be bankrupt soon. Not only that he was going to end up in jail. She had already acquired recordings of his house where he had beaten her often.

The financial condition was already bad. This man had nothing to offer. Soon even a beggar would not look at him.

But the women took Nat’s silence as her worries. She smiled sweetly.

“I know that everything is overwhelming. I even know that you do not feel well these days. But trust me, you would miss your child when you would be thrown away after the birth. Boss would get bored of you and bring another girl. But would your child stay with him? He would not even recognize you. Could you accept that? Or you want to stay by his side.

I am sure as time passes, his tendencies will change and he will not hurt you anymore. This could be your new family.” the woman knew too well. Nat was impressed. The woman must have noticed that wealth did not attract nat anymore.

She was more and more silent these days as if she was waiting for the time to end so that she could free herself from this torture.

“You will live a good life.” Nat almost laughed at the sincerity of her voice as she promised a bright future to nat. This woman could sell sand like a treasure.

Nat nodded to not be nagged anymore. The woman smiled brightly without doubting that Nat did not want this future.

“Good! I know that you are a smart girl. That is why I have decided to help you. Otherwise there have been so many girls in the past but I have never interfered in their matters.” she boosted and nat wondered if she had cared about her if not for the child.

She looked away not caring about it. It did not matter what Sarah thought. She was going to leave this damned place soon.

“So, having a child is not enough. You have to be likable too. They should believe that you would be a good daughter in law. Not only that, you should be submissive and show a lot of love for your boss. Madam cherished boss too much. They were just a middle class family but the boss had worked hard and now they were rich. Madam could never hear a complaint. Did you get it?” the woman smiled brightly. “As long as you act innocent and nod on everything you would get through it. I am sure you can do it.” She smiled sweetly and stopped the car in front of a small villa.

Though the villa was not large, it was warm and had a large garden. Nat looked around and knew this place was luxurious and must be very expensive. As she followed Sarah into the house, she noticed there were two maids taking care of the house.

The house was decorated luxurious but minimalistic. Even the clock on the wall looked like an antique! Nat watched as she entered the guest room.

Sarah offered her a seat before taking one for herself.

“You must be respectful all the time.” she reminded me. Before she could nag more, the door opened and a woman in her early fifties entered the room.

She paused and stared at Nat with cold eyes before coming to sit in front of her.

“Is this the girl? She is too young!” the woman frowned but Sarah only smiled flatteringly.

“Yes, she is young and easy to mold to the boss’s requirements. These days, he only sleeps with her and there is not a single night when I do not hear their passion. Even when she was pregnant she was serving the boss daily and the boss could not have enough of her.” liar! You did not even stay in the house for the night.

But then it was true that even if late, Chris had always come to her and had sex with her. Even when she was tired or vomiting. He would ask her to wash herself and have her.
