Return Of The Heiress For Revenge - Chapter 450
Chapter 450: Rescued!
“My brother lives there.” she pointed at the bought house and then looked at them meekly. “Why are you asking? Are you the police?” the man looked back at his men and then at the house she had pointed at.
“If you are there to meet someone, just go there. Why are you snooping around like a rat.” his voice was full of snickers as he looked at her with a scornful gaze. Emma frowned.
“What do you mean? And who are you?”
“We are working here. Now leave.” his threatening gaze matched criminals. Emma bit her lips and walked away. If not, she would raise their suspicion since a young girl could not bear their cold look.
The door was opened already when she reached closer. The man guided her to the last room of the second floor. Its window opens to their balcony. The door was opened and one could see inside the room but it was empty and the view was constricted.
She took the binoculars from him and peeked in. The place was oddly silent as if no one was living there.
“For someone to hire so many guards to protect their house, it is strange that they have kept their doors and windows open.” Emma frowned as she looked at the house with unease growing in her chest.
The man frowned. “Perhaps they are sure that no one could infiltrate.”
“Or they wanted their enemies to believe in it and infiltrate. It must be a trap cat prepares for the rat.” the man;s face grew uglier. He wanted to be anywhere but here.
“What do we do now?” Emma let go of the binoculars and grinned at him.
“What could rats do? Of course they have to go and fall into the trap for everyone!”
“….” he wanted to quit his work.
“Madam..”
“Do not be nervous, you are trained for this work. We will infiltrate tonight when the guards change their duties. Go and rest or prepare till then, I will keep an eye.” The man opened his mouth but swallowed the refusal. He nodded and left the room.
Emma sighed as she leaned on the window and found a comfortable position for herself. Her eyes staring at the building for hours when she finally noticed movements.
A woman in her fifties came out of the house and spoke to the guards. She exchanged a few words and frowned. Then she took out her mobile and dialled a number.
She passed the phone to the guard and the man flinched. Emma could not hear them but from the smirk of the old woman, she knew the woman had argued with the guard and won.
The woman was escorted by the guards and soon she left in a car.
The man cursed and others followed. Strange silence followed their argument, it had been half a day but she didn’t hear about Nat or seen her.
When the man returned with a glass of juice, she stood up.
“Who else is in the house?” The man looked at the house and shook his head.
“No one, madam. I saw the old woman leaving. The man had left with his secretary early in the morning and I did not see any guests coming. The girl should be there alone.” Nora nodded and put the binoculars away.
“Then we are going now.” she announced as she picked up her coat and walked out.
“!!!!”
Emma walked fast and the man had to hop and run to match her speed. He looked aghast just by the thought of it.
“Madam! You should think about it again.” he managed to outrun her and block the door. “What if we put her in more trouble? They only doubt her right now but then they would be sure that she was a spy.” he looked uneasy but Emma only smirked.
“So you are putting a woman in danger just because she was not caught yet properly. If something happens, I will take the responsibility.” the man stared at Emma but looking at her determined eyes, he sighed.
“At least we should wait for the backups!” he gave up. He could not argue with women. They did not listen.
“Oh come on, there are only six of them. I am sure we can handle that much.” she winked at him as she patted his shoulders. His skin crawled beneath her touch.

This woman was crazy! Why did he even call her? He could only gulp when she prepared herself for the attack.
As soon as they opened the door and walked out. The man from earlier noticed him again and clicked his tongue.
“What now? Lost again!” he commented and she smiled meekly as she walked to him. The man frowned deeper. “Hey girl, this is not a joke, if you come here, i will hurt you.” he warned only to get a nod and strange smile from her.
“You are right, you should learn to trust your guts.” she spoke in an affectionate tone. The man frowned but before he could ask what she meant, she took out a gun and shot him on his leg. “Empty threats would not scare your enemies.”
The gun had silencer yet his voice alerted many and two more came running to see what happened. But before they could react, she shot both of them on their legs. She knocked one of them down but the other tried to run with one leg. He shouted and alerted others. Cursing, Emma ran to him. Since he was only staggering, she held him by the back of his collar and hit the back side of his neck. One punch and he lost his consciousness too.
Nora watched as the man fell on the ground. “You were too noisy!”
Three other guards did not come looking for them anymore.
“They are alert now.” she spoke on her call. “I am going in, just cover me up from a distance.” Emma had a cold look in her eyes.
