Chapter 451: Trapped In Hell
“This was too dangerous!” the man scowled. He had thought EMma would go hidden and find them one by one.
“I trust you enough. Thank you.” he wanted to grit his teeth and shout as Emma touched the door. She looked at the password lock and took out a spray. Fingerprints started to show on the lock. The man rubbed his forehead. His last hope is dying. He should have known that she had come prepared.
Nora followed the fingerprints and the door opened easily. She picked up the man who had just fallen unconscious and used him as a shield as she walked in.
The moment she took a step in, someone shot from her left. But the bullet hit their man. The man groaned hard. Emma threw him on the left where the other man was standing. The man was stunned that he had shot his friend and before he could react, he fell on the ground by the weight of his comrade.
Emma walked closer and twisted his neck. Not strong enough to kill him but enough for him to not wake up for the time being.
“One more down. Can you see the other two.” the man asked on the phone as EMma had taken out heat sensor glasses too.
Emma scanned the hallways where she was standing.
“Not here at least.” she let go of the men. “I am going on the first floor. That room with the balcony belongs to hers, right?” the man nodded when he remembered that she could not see him.
“Yes, but they have not kept her there. They must have hidden her somewhere.” he concluded only to get a silence in return.
Nora climbed the first floor. She had picked up a metal tray filled with water and other things from the ground floor as she walked.
When she heard footsteps, she threw it with force, knocking another man.
“Tsk! You are still slow.” They were just normal guards. He did not hire elites. It only meant that he was not that sure. Emma looked relieved by it. She scanned the area and did not find the last one. “The last room, right?” though she confirmed, she had already started walking toward it. She picked up a vase from the corridor. She opened the door slowly and waited for someone to react
Then she threw the vase she had picked up before. It crashed on the ground. Still no reaction. Emma inhaled a deep breath before finally opening the door wide and entering. As soon as she entered, someone hit her on her back.
“You are a smart one, arent you and others are fools in your eyes?” the man sneered while holding a knife on her neck. “Who sent you, why are you here?” he asked in a cold and commanding voice.
Emma smirked as she leaned on the man leisurely. There was no panic in her voice or actions.
“You are making a mistake.” she warned only to earn a scoff.
“By retaliating against you? I do not think so!” he hissed only to earn a look of disapproval from her.
“No! By not killing me the instant you saw me.” the man raised a brow at her cocky reply. But in the next second his eyes widened. He staggered a step back and she twisted herself enough to stand in front of him.
He looked at his other arm in shock but there was no wound.
“What did you do, bitch?” he snapped when he didn ot find any wound but it felt like his skin was crawling and many insects had entered his blood.
“It is a simple poison.” the woman smirked, “Do not worry, it will not kill you.” the man fell on the ground and started twisting and wriggling as if someone had held him captive.
EMma watched him intently as she crouched beside him.
“Why did this house need protection? Who are you protecting?” the man scowled at her but did not reply. He reached for his pocket but Emma was faster. She took out the gurn from his pocket and threw it toward the other corner of the room. She stood up shrugging and started looking around.
The room was empty. Men like Chris, would never believe that a woman could get free from his grip. He would not change her room or hide her. It was beneath his pride.
She looked around and found two doors. She opened the first one and could see their house. Then she opened the other door and found Nat tied in her own closet.
It was a walk-in closet with enough space for four people. Nat was tied to a chair there. She struggled looking at armed Emma.
“I am your friend.” Emma threw the gun on the other side and raised her hands as she walked toward Nat. Nat looked at her and then stopped struggling when Emma and to open the ropes.
“Nora had sent me. She is worried for you.” she explained as she opened the knots. “Did you get caught?” Nat had closed her eyes. As if she was finally breathing. Her body slowly started to relax and feel all the pain she had gone through.
“He found the flushed pieces of the phone. I do not know how. But someone had tipped him about me.” there could be no other reason. She was sure she had flushed every single piece and it took him a week to find it later!

Emma nodded without caring about the details. She opened the ropes and threw them on the ground.
“Someone must have called for backup. We need to leave this palace. Can you walk or should I piggyback you?” EMma held Nat tightly as he helped him in standing.
Nat struggled as she took the first step but it was only her numbness.
“They did not harm me. They still want this child.” she explained, “yes, i can walk and i know the shortcuts. Come with me.”
